Its a jungle out here

This is my entry in Emma's "Throw back Thursday" challenge. Zoobaloo is the cartridge we had to use, it has some great font and really cute animal images.

The paper I've used is the "Jungle Bug" collection by Kaiser...........all the leaves at the bottom of the page are from the embellishment pack. I've drawn the faces myself.......It would be great to have the animal face stamps from Peachy Keen.

I love these challenges Emma..............it is easy to forget what great images some of the older cartridges have.

Cafe Card

I just love this card! I found it at "A Place for My Cards"made by Jeannie Phillips. She has a wonderful tutorial on her blog to help you re-create it. She used her Gypsy........I used Design Studio.

My niece announced her engagement last weekend, so when I saw this card, I thought it would be perfect.
I love the simplicity of it , just using the Black Gel pens to draw the cafe. My card is the same as Jeannie's , I only added a few flourishs to the roof. I did try thinking of something different but I liked hers too much!

On the inside I wrote Congratulations with the Black Gel pens.
Scrappy-Go-Lucky is where I purchased my Gel pens.
This card is made using My Community and Sweet Heart cartridges.
Go to Jeannie's Blog for her great instructions.
Thanks Jeannie

Have a great day.........Tracey

Trip stuff

I'm so excited! Its only nine days until I fly to the USA...........Today I covered this little note book and titled it "Trip Stuff" so I thought I'd show you .

I added this pocket on the front , I didn't know what I was going to put in it at first then I remembered this quote I really like.......so I printed it out.

On the front and back page of the book I added more pockets for bits and pieces.

The picture below.........I stamped on the ribbon, I don't think I'll have a problem filling this little pocket.

After showing my husband tonight, he said " is this book to put photo's of us in to take with you"?................
I said yes it can be, and also it will have directions to any MICHAEL'S, WALLMART, AC MOORE etc. in the area that I'll be in!
I have been doing my research! I'm so glad it is summer there, I plan on packing very light, so I can stock up on all the stuff I can't by here.

Bye for now

Its a girl

Hi everyone, How cute are the feet on this card! I bought the "New arrival" cartridge just for these feet, now I get to use it  for "Emma's Throwback Thursday" My challenge was to create something with a baby theme using this cartridge.
I thought you could write the birth date on the little tag. I don't know if you can see, that the hearts on the back ground paper are embossed and are shiny.

Thanks for the challenge Emma, it was fun............
