Tulips......for a friend

Today, I thought I'd show you a card that I made for a friend who I will be visiting in hospital  tomorrow. I saw a similar idea some where in Blog land using stamped images.....I decided to make my own template and cut everything with the Cricut. "Walk in my Garden" is the cartridge I've used. The flower pot is welded together at the base.

When the ribbon is slipped off, it springs open to reveal lots and lots of tulips in her favourite colors!
I hope the florist has Tulips in her store........I want to buy them to go with my card!

I love  vintage images...... so I put it on the card as well and the colors went well with the tulips!!??

The pot is cut at 4 1/2 in, Tulips 3 /78 in border

I hope she likes it..........

Have a great day.........Tracey

B....mine

Jitterbuggin' had a fun challenge this week.........Make a 5in square card, follow the sketch, use your scraps and put a B or Bee on your card. The B is from my new favourite cartridge "Rock Princess" I love the heart font!!! To make the heart stand out I used crystal effects then sprinkled it with a little red glitter. The scallop circle is from Mini Monograms........I like how this turned out, think I need to use my scraps more often!!!

Below is a project I completed a few months ago............thought I'd show you where all my scraps came from!!!

Throwback Thursday Challenge

I love this time of the week.........I get to create something for "Emma's Throwback Thursday " challenge. The theme this week is "Princess". I have drawn Cinderella at 4in onto water color paper with the black Cri-Kit gel pen and used Stampin Up water color crayons to color her in. There's a little glitter on her shoe's, hair and rose...........its hard to see that in the photo.

Happy Birthday Chris!!!

For a Friend................

Just a quick post for today........I covered this journal with paper from a K& Company stack. The frame with blossoms is from "Happily Ever After". Tiny pearls are set in the centre of the flowers. I'm giving this book to a friend........she tends to like things with an Asian look and I like Shabby chic.........so I think I've mixed both styles a bit here! What do you think?

Thanks 4 stopping by..........

The dinosaurs and grass are from Paper Doll Dress Up and the frame is from Stretch Your Imagination.....So here it is!
Slowly I'm getting through this HUGE pile of photos I need to scrap!

Jitterbuggin' Challenge

Today I decided to try a challenge at "Jitterbuggin"........The rules are, follow the sketch, put a cricut vehicle on it and use a button. "My little plane is from Paper Pups"cut at 2.20in. The circles were cut from "George".
This is what I came up with.................I thought this  would be a cute card to give someone who's going on an over seas trip etc.

Boys

Hi,
Today I have a scrapbook page to show you that I threw together very fast this morning for "Scrappin Happily Ever After". challenge.
I met Ivy when I was visiting America..... She owns the  store "Scrappin Happily Ever After" in Summerville South Carolina. She was so lovely, so if your in that area go check it out.

We had to use five elements on the page from a list Ivy provided, hope they are all there?

Brads, rhinestones, stamped image, flower, button, twine...........think that covers it!

This page was done very quickly because I was on a very tight time frame.......My son Matt runs the 800 metre final at the district athletic competition in an hour..........so here's my page.......I'm out of here.

Have a great day

Embrace Life

Hello and Welcome to day 7 of the Blog Hop

This is my Swap Card............ I created just the face of the card , only adding a small amount of dimension, keeping in mind it was to be mounted in a frame. So everyone else who received the card can mount it any way they choose!

The tree branch I cut from Story Book, it is raised with tiny foam dots, it  is hard to see that in the photo.

The photo below shows you what I did with the card.........A little more detail makes a huge difference to the overall appearance. White card mounted on black, using the scallop punch again at the end. It measures 4.25 x 7.75in. The card size is 4.50 x 8in.

Here's the recipe for my card. I made the photo slightly transparent then added the text to give details for all my  measurements, it was glued  to the back of my swap card.

Hope you like it!

One day to go...........Head back to Scrappy-Go-Lucky tomorrow to see what Lisa and Tara have created.

Leave your answer and comment under Mandy's original post

Its Back to School

Here is my card I have entered in "Emma's Throwback Thursday" challenge. The theme this week is"Back to School" . In America the school year starts very soon or already has? I don't own the cartridge Paisley so I used the following...........
Design Studio and Cri-Kit gel pens, welding images together from George and My Community. The children are from a Childs Year.

I love the little children playing........so cute!

October 31st

I received this Cartridge earlier  in the week from Mandy at Scrappy-Go-Lucky.............. I couldn't wait to use it.......I had the perfect photos!
My daughter Jordyn and her partner Warren are all dressed up for a Halloween party. She did the makeup on both of them...........which looked awsome!
I've also entered this page in a challenge over at More Than Favors with Paula........Pop over and look at all the other great Halloween themed designs!

The lock was cut twice on card board so it would look thick and chunky, the top layer I embossed with silver powder,  some brads complete the look. The chain was welded together on Design Studio and was also embossed.

A Black Cri-Kit gel pen was used to draw the detail on the Head Stone and embroidery thread for grass.

I sponged ink on the back ground paper to give a misty look and the spider web has been embossed, you can just pick up a little sparkle in the light. And  not forgetting the Red Back Spider........how cool is it!

This scap page is only one part of what I have done.........I have created another for Scrappy-Go-Lucky using so many more images from this cartridge, so keep an eye out for it in the coming weeks.

Here's a sneak peak of the wedding in the cemetry.

Have a Great day

Hello,
I'm back from my trip to America.............I had just the best time, so much fun! I was in LA for a week and South Carolina for a week. I loved South Carolina, everyone I met was so friendly and helpful..........I want to go back!
So I've been home a week now, trying to get back into the routine of things...........like posting on this blog, it will happen sometime soon. Anyway until then go over to Scrappy-Go-Lucky and check out a few scrap pages I've done of my trip. Lots of shopping proved to be a challenge when it came to packing my suit cases.

How cool is this hat!

I took over a thousand photos.........................that should keep me busy scrapping for some time!
