Birthday Sundaes

Mary, Mary quite contrary how does your garden grow?

I thought this image would be perfect for our Spring themed challenge this week at "Birthday Sundaes".

I used Nursery Rhymes cartridge for the girl and Heritage for the white fence. The scallop edge paper was cut with Lacy Labels. The crinkle ribbon I dyed  to match the card, some little pearl sprays just make it look pretty........ I think you can just see them in the photo.

Come join us.........Create a Birthday Card with a Spring theme.
Head over to "Birthday Sundaes" and play along .
Have a great weekend

Kaiser class........

On Monday I attended a class at Kaiser.........Our instructors were Melissa Kennedy and Alison Hannah. We used the beautiful "English Rose" collection to create a double page layout.
I never usually finish things I do at classes, but I made an extra effort this time. So thats what I've got to show you today.........I did cut a few extra leaves from "Picturesque" other wise everything came in an embellishment pack.

How gorgeous are these flowers! They were made out of the same paper....we cut, scrunched then rolled!
My favourite part was adding a sprinkle of "Diamond Dust". Don't they just look so pretty all  sugar coated looking!
As soon as I got home I was on Google to see where I could buy this from........it arrived yesterday, so expect to see a lot of sugar coating!

Before I go, here's a sneak peak at my layout I've done for "Scrappy-Go-Lucky" tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a great week, thankyou so much 4 stopping by......

I love this photo of Tori!
This is a layout I did recently for Scrappy-Go-Lucky showing some  flower cuts from the "April Showers" cartridge. I kept the layout very simple, so the main focus was the beautiful picture.

Have a great week everyone and thanks 4 stopping by.

21 Birthday Wishes

Pink Petticoat has the cutest digital stamps........this one is "Lola Rose cupcakes"
My daughter's friend is wearing a purple dress to her 21st birthday tonight, so I tried to match it using copics to colour in.

The frame is from "Lacy Labels" cartridge. The flower, pearls and paper are all Kaiser with a cupcake button in the center and a cute little key charm to finish it off.

Enjoy your weekend

Blog Candy 101 winners

Today I'd like to announce the winners of my "Blog Candy" and I have a few other things to show you just for fun.

Random org. chose the winners............
Number  4
              7
              9
Woo Hoo.........Congratulations.......Sandy - "Love that Expressions"
                                                        Martha - "The Card Boutique"
                                                        Norma - "Pink Bling Crafter"
I will leave a message on your blogs.............please email me your address details.

In my last post I told you we had a little fun dressing up........well here are the pics. The second hand shop we went to, has a huge range of wedding dresses. Shelley and I couldn't resist trying some on! As you can see we picked ones that were very old world looking. I played around very quickly in a digital programme to create this look.......anything I liked I put on the page! I added a crown on Shelley's head, with a huge shiny rock in the middle..... She loves Bling! And a Rose for me. LOL!
What do you think?
Some pretty things I found along the way. My daughter is a fan of "Oroton" so she claimed the bag.

And here's a Sneak Peak of my project that I have created for "Scrappy-Go-Lucky" this week.
Mandy has a lot of new product in stock.......including some really cool stamps. Enfys has used one of them on a card this week and Jane has a really pretty layout to show you using "Page Maps" by Beck Fleck.

See you at SGL on Friday

Happy Birthday Shelley

I hope you like my card Shelley........pearls, flower, doilies, just a few of my favourite things!

The rose paper on the doily was cut using "Lacy Labels". The paper is "English Rose" by Kaiser. I used a rubon on the button, it was white to start with , I thought it was too bright so I coloured over it with a copic marker...It looks more antique now.

Now to update you on our second hand shopping...........We did find some bargains - My best buy would have to be an "Oroton bag" you wouldn't believe how much.........only $14.95.......Woo Hoo! Lots of pretty doilies and also a set of 6 pretty parfait glasses, the ones with the coloured base. I think they would also pass as a champagne glass, Well, that's what I plan on using them for!

What a great day, we had lots of fun.Maybe I'll have some pics to show you that we took in one of the second hand shops...........we had a little fun dressing up. Has that got you thinking.

2 Cards...........

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Just a quick post to show you a couple cards I made today.................
I love this new paper collection from Kaiser its called "Nans Favourites" The flower I cut from "Accents Essential" and how cute is that little tea pot button!

I used Kaiser again on this card "Lush collection". The frame was cut using "George", the bird and heart - "Gypsy Wanderings", and the flourish - "Sweet Hearts".

I'm trying to get a collection of cards together for when I need them............at the moment I'm making them when an occasion arises......... I don't always have the time so this should help.

Tomorrow is my good friend Shelley's birthday I thought I'd take her out for coffee or in her case Tea but instead she requested "Second hand shopping". I'm really looking forward to it, I hope we find some bargains like I did last week!

Just a quick reminder........I'm giving away some stamp sets to celebrate reaching over 100 followers, please leave a comment under the post "Blog Candy 101" for your chance to win!

See You again Soon

A pretty gum ball machine.............

If its your birthday soon don't peak!

Don't you just love Gumball machines...........I have an antique one sitting on my kitchen bench full of
M & M's , for a while now I have been tempted to paint  it so it would look more Shabby chic. I suppose making this card has given me and idea how pretty it could look.........at the moment its red!

The challenge this week at Fantabulous Cricut is to create a shape card............this is my entry. I used "Wrap it Up".

The little heart turn thingy is an  earing, I just cut the back post off. Glossy accents, glitter and heart buttons were added to the gum balls.

So what do you think............should I paint my red one white? How pretty would it look with pink and white m & m's.  I could co-ordinate colours depending on the time of the year. LOL

 Thankyou 4 stopping by
