With Love..............

Hey I'm back for a quick post today..........

This is our photo inspiration at the  Shabby Tea Room this week.......... Create a card or project based on the inspiration photo and use PASTELS and STRIPES.

These colors look so pretty together!
I cut the heart doily out with my new dies........George cricut cartridge was used to make the flower, and if you are looking for the stripes, they are at the bottom, a Martha Stewart punch was used to cut the border.

The paper I have used is Papermania "Rose Garden"

Birthday Sundaes................

Hello, and welcome to another "Birthday Sundaes"

No Birthday cards this week!
Our challenge was create something for a Birthday party.......
Birthday gift , banner, cupcake wrappers/toppers , treat boxes etc.
On Tuesday its Tori's Birthday so I decided to make this Mini Cake Banner to put on her cake.
To give you an idea of what it will look like, for the photo I put it on this giant paper cupcake! Its from Kaiser - Candy Lane collection.

My cake won't look as pretty as this one!
The banner is tied to skewers  so it can stand in the cake.

I have a card to match but since there is a very good chance she will peak at my blog, I will show you that next week.

"Martha Stewart All Ocasional Cake" was used for the banner and scallop circle. The flower was cut with "Mothers Day Bouquet" and the little cupcake in the centre is a rub on.
Its your Day is from "George".

Hope you are enjoying your Easter holidays

Thankyou so much for stopping by.......

Happy Easter

Hi.........and Happy Easter to everyone,

The kids are on school holidays at the moment........... there has not been a lot of time for creating.
Yesterday I made a few Easter baskets and boxes for them , so that is what I have to show you today.

For this basket I used Easter 2010 , the flowers are from "Mothers Day Bouquet"

I love this one........its from "Wrap it Up". I tied some twine around the edges for added strength .

This one and the following two are all from "Life's a party"

See you back here on Sunday for "Birthday Sundaes".

Its a busy week for me............two of my children have Birthdays 3 days apart, so I'll be busy baking and I still have to make them cards!
 So much for being organised!

HAPPY EASTER to you, enjoy the time with your families.

Birthday Sundaes # 5

Anything goes is the challenge at "Birthday Sundaes" this week.

"First class Friends" is a new stamp of mine.  ! I think I actually designed the card around the stamp...... I had to fit it on the card somewhere!

I used Story book to cut the shape at the back, Picturesque for the leaves and the larger petals of the flower. I used Forever Young for the centre of the flowers.

Here is a close up..............lots of sparkle using diamond dust. Can you tell I love that stuff!

Come join us for a fun challenge................

Enjoy your weekend

Just be U...........

I've wanted to put these photos on a layout for a while, so I started playing around with colors, which I thought worked really well with these photo's.

Here are a few close ups of the flowers which I made using the cricut. I also cut the butterflies with the cricut. The stem of leaves is kaiser chip board, and a pretty doily .

Olive Green is not a favourite colour of mine, but I think it worked well the the photos.
So that's my simple layout.................Would you call it minimal ? There is a word for layouts with not much on them, but I can't think of it at the moment!

Thanks so much for stopping by........its a beautiful day in Brisbane , so I'm off the enjoy the sunshine.

A few things........

I showed you the SNEAK PEAK a few days ago.........this is a card I made for Mandy at "Scrappy-Go-Lucky" highlighting the new "Doily dies's she has for sale. They have been very popular.......a few of them have sold out already but she has got more stock coming.

The little flowers were cut with "Mothers Day Bouquet", I used "Picturesque" for the leaves. If you would like the sizes of cuts please visit Scrappy-Go-Lucky.

LOOK at all these beautiful doilies!

This is how my Monday morning started................I had three friends visit today to have their hair done, Anna surprised me with all these doilies. What a wonderful surprise, OMG I could not get over how many there were! Her husband  had heart surgery recently and while she was sitting with him she crochet. I appreciate it sooooooooo much. Thank you Anna!
Looks like I have no need for crochet lesson for a little while longer. She even put little pearls in the centre of a few.

I gave the card to my other friend who was visiting, she is going through a few things at the moment and I thought the sentiment was perfect................ She loved it!

While I was waiting for the Lola's colour to process I was cutting out  heart doilies  for her.
It was a fun morning!

Thank you so much for visiting and leaving such kind comments.
See you soon

Hello, I hope you all had a fantasic weekend........

Would you like to win a "CRICUT  IMAGINE"? continue reading to find out how!

I have some really pretty flowers to show you today.... Mandy from "Scrappy-Go-Lucky" challenged me to make some 3D looking flowers for  "Flowers on Friday". My flowers needed to be in "Scrappy-Go-Lucky" colours because..........
She has a huge competition running at the moment.........You have the chance of winning a "Cricut Imagine" machine! And all you have to do is make a FLOWER........ How easy is that!
Head over to SGL for all the details.
This competiton is not only for Australia........it is world wide. So exciting! (I wish I could enter? Ha ha ha)

And here are my flowers......
I have a peach tree in my garden , which I planted just for the blossoms!
So I have tried to create a similar look with my cricut flowers, I love how they turned out!

From this...............

To This...........

Diamond Dust is my new favourite product.......It makes your flowers look all sugar coated. Or with these flowers it could look like dew drops??

I used "Mothers Day Bouquet.........Pipe cleaners were used to form the stem as I wanted a thicker branch look. I bought the stamens at a $2 store.

Scrappy-Go-Lucky has another great opportunity for you too...... When you buy any of the following 3 items during the month of April you will have a chance to win the entire purchasing price as a cash refund!

Cricut Imagine Machine

Bug Bites

I came across a  blog today called "Bug Bites".......they have a challenge - Make a card and put a BUG on it.
Just for fun I decided to go with my favourite BUG -  " Miss Cricut". As you can see I placed her on an apple with a huge bite taken out of it. For the sentiment.........I couldn't think of one, so I went with the blog name.
I think it turned out kinda cute! Now I've had some fun, I'm off to complete a layout I'm working on.

The apple is from "Wrap it up" and the cricut Bug is from "Car Decals"

So happy its the weekend tomorrow
Thanks 4 stopping by......
