Just plain CUTE........

Hey everyone,
This month I set myself a goal to complete everyone of Kaisers Saturday sketch challenges........I didn't quite get there but I was happy with what I did for my first attempt, and I am slowly getting pages in those albums.

So here is "Kaiser sketch #3".
The paper is an older collection called Mumma Bushka.......it went so well with this cute as photo of Tori.

The scallop background was cut using "Elegant Edges cartridge" The title is stickers which I covered with Glossy Accents.

I'll be back tomorrow with something I have been working on..........see you then

Birthday Sundaes #11

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Before I show you my card I'd just like to say " How frustrating is Blogger at the moment"! I have been trying to leave comments on your blogs but its not working..... I think a lot of you are having the same issue. After reading a few comments on blogs , I learnt that people were having success by removing the tick on the"Stay signed in box"..............it worked. So if you read this I hope that helps.

Here's my card...........

Masculine card is the challenge this week at "Birthday Sundaes"  I was thinking of a card more for a male not necessarily a MAN............Looks like I got a bit mixed up compared to the other DT's cards! So  if you look at my card, think of a very small young man!

I really love the cute stamp of "Luka" from La-La-Land Crafts............ I coloured it with copics.

The tickets were cut using "Wall Decor and More" cartridge.

I'll be back on Wednesday to show you something I've been working on..............

Have a great day
Bye 4 now

It would be great if you headed over there for a Peak.............love to know what you think!

Bye 4 now

Birthday Sundaes #10

I love this weeks challenge at Birthday Sundaes........Pearls and Lace.

This card was made using just bits and pieces from my stash.........these colours look so pretty together!

The little square frame originally was a shiny brown which I didn't like, so I painted it white , then sanded it lightly, to show the pattern.

I would love to see your cards with Pearls and Lace, head over to Birthday Sundaes and join in the fun!

Have a Great Day!!!!!!!!

Kaiser Sketch May #2

Hello again, I hope everyone has had a fabulous week!

Here's another page for Jordyn's album.......there is no way I'll have her album finished  by September, when she turns 21! But I know it will happen if I just keep working away at it.
I love these photo's of Jordyn and Matt together! It might be a little hard to see but Matt just loves wearing this black afro wig.......he surprised Jordyn by wearing it to one of her drama performances! Funny thing is......I think it really looks good on him, ha ha ha!

For this layout I followed May #2 sketch challenge from Kaiser. The paper is one of their latest collections "Party Animals". I cut the little Monkey from "Create a Critter" cartridge.

Ok....I'm on my way to complete another page, see you again soon...........

Kaiser Sketch May #1

Hey everyone,
Each Saturday a new sketch is posted on the Kaiser blog. From these sketches, you have that many chances for that Month to create a layout, and have a chance of winning one of Kaisers new collections.

So this is what I came up with.............
Love these fun pics of Tori and her friend Steph!

Everything on the page is Kaiser - I used tags from the mini book for the banner, chip board letters for Angel, stamps, rubons and a few little felt embellishments. ( you need to use at least 70% Kaiser on your layout)
This is the sketch for May............I have not linked it yet, for some reason the post has disappeared on the Kaiser blog, it was there a few days ago?...........so when its back again I'll go ahead and link.

Woo Hoo its the weekend..................Enjoy

Its been through a war!!

Hello,
Today I thought I'd show you a layout that I feel has been through a war! Have you ever done one of those?
I wasn't happy with it , so I  tryed to pull paper up which then ripped, so then I had to work out something else to cover the mess.
I'm still not totally happy with it but thought I'd show you anyway.......maybe you can relate!
I  LOVE this photo of Tori...........so concentrate on it and not too much on the layout!

I've used Kaiser Bubble Gum collection for the paper. The large flowers are cut using "Cherry Lime Aid" cartridge.
Hope everyone is having a great week

See you soon

Birthday Sundaes #8

Hi and Happy Mothers Day to you all.........

Our challenge this week at Birthday Sundaes was a Recipe -  use 2 different pattern papers and 3 embellishments.
Time is not something I've had a lot of this week........so my card is quite simple using some pretty paper from the Kaiser Bubble gum collection.

I used the cricut for the bird, music notes and flower. Happy Birthday is from a Stampin up roller.

Hope you can come join us at Birthday Sundaes.

Enjoy your day...........

See you soon, I hope!

Teacher Appreciation Blog Hop

Hi everyone,
Welcome to the Blog Hop!
I was so excited to be asked by Jen from www.jenscraftcorner.com/ to join her "Teacher Appreciation" blog hop. (This is a first for me)
If you have arrived via  www.sparkledmemories.blogspot.com/ you are in the right place, if not and you would like to start at the beginning please head back to "Jenscraftcorner" .

I have made a card and some little note paper holders to show you.

For my card I stamped the letters on to black card to create a black board look. The lined paper is from one of the kids school books, I used a stampin up punch for the border. The little apples are from Freshly Picked cricut cartridge.

I saw a similar idea for these little note paper holders some where in Blog land. ( I'm sorry I don't remember where) I really liked the idea , and I'm always looking for a  piece of paper to write things down and I thought these would be perfect for your hand bag............ they don't take up much space! So for a cute little Teachers gift I tied a few of them in a bundle with twine........one for every handbag!
Its a great project to use up some of your scrap paper.  Add a pretty border with a punch, a few staples at the bottom to keep the paper in. Stitch around the edges for some extra detail!
Don't look to close at my stitching, I think I need to adjust the tension on my machine! I printed the font out on the computer.

I used Mini Monograms to make the scallop edged note paper, stamping a little daisy in the corner.
Here's a photo of them tied together in a bundle with twine......... So cute!

Butterflies........

Even though this week has been so busy.......I found a few minutes to create a card for the
Shabby Tea Room .

So I rushed to get it finished, and guess what.......I forgot to link it! Oh well that happens some time!
Anyway
The challenge this week is to use butterflies...............I embossed the background with Butterflies and the large Butterfly is cut using a Martha Stewart cartridge.

I'm really hoping to get better at doing Shabby chic!
So here is my card...........hope you like it.

Head over to the Shabby Tea Room, look at all the beautiful creations and be inspired.

I really appreciate you stopping by and thankyou so much for all your kind words!

See you soon

Birthday Sundaes #7

Pattie's Creations digital images are sponsoring Birthday Sundaes this week................There are so many beautiful images, I used this pretty vase of  tulips on my card today.

The image  was printed out on water color paper , then colored with Stampin up water color crayons.

Anything goes is this weeks challenge...........Pattie is giving away a $10.00 voucher to spend in her Etsy store to the lucky winner.
So come join us !

Last week you saw the banner I made  for Tori's cake.........this week I'd like to show you her card.
So in keeping with the cupcake theme, I used the cutest stamp from La-La Land - "Sugar and Spice Marcie". I colored it with copics.....(don't look close, I'm still getting the hang of these pens).

And here is the banner on her cake. I really loved how the cake looked! Notice the little icing flowers go with the background paper....ha ha ha!

Look at all those Kit Kats.........yummy!

I got the idea for the kit kats from here.

Have a fabulous weekend,
thankyou so much 4 stopping by
