Special day

Today I thought I'd show you a layout I did a few weeks ago for "Scrappy-Go-Lucky". (Some of you have probably already seen it over there.)

Look at those beautiful dresses in the photo’s, they added all the colour I really needed for this layout. I just created simple embellishments to highlight the pictures.
The oval frame is cut using Happily Ever After.  Now that I can cut my own Doilies, you will probably see them on a lot of my creations…..I just love them! This one is French Pastry.

Mothers day bouquet was used to cut the flowers.  The butterflies are cut using Martha Stewart all Occasion Cake.
The paper is Kaiser "Airy Fairy".
Cutting all your own embellishment is so much fun………..add some glitter , pearls etc. , so easy!

At the moment "Scappy-Go-Lucky" is having a stock take sale.......all the Doily dies are 10% off. Check them out HERE.

See you again soon

Its all about "Stars and Stripes" at Birthday Sundaes this week.
The paper I have used is from the DCWV Citrus stack........I love the colours!
Elegant Edges cartridge was used to cut the scallop circle.
The card below I made with some left over scraps. I used Create a Critter for the clouds and Martha Stewart all occasions for the banner.
Come join us at Birthday Sundaes..........show us your Stars and Stripes creations!
Have a great Sunday

Kaiser Sketch June #3

Hello, I'm back to show you my take on this weeks Kaiser sketch. I used "Christmas Carnival".......I love the colours in this collection.
Here's the sketch....
I reversed the sketch to suit the background paper. The Christmas trees are part of the back ground paper, which I cut to slip the photo underneath.

The trees sparkle with all that bling.......... and how cute is the little embroidered tree!
Can't wait to see the next sketch.

Its the weekend tomorrow ..........enjoy everyone!

Be back on Sunday to show you this weeks card for "Birthday Sundaes".

Birthday Sundaes #14

The weeks are just flying by......I can't believe it is Sunday already!

I'm back  with another "Birthday Sundaes" challenge. This week the challenge is to make a SHAPE card.......no rectangles or squares allowed!
I love Cup Cakes............so I decided to have my cupcake sitting on a plate with a pretty doily.
Here's my easel card!

I used my Gypsy to  create the card! I welded a circle from "George" and a cup cake from "From My Kitchen".  I decorated it with some pretty papers , little pompoms and some gorgeous crinkle ribbon. The paper on the base of the cupcake I ran through a paper crimper.

This week the challenge is sponsered by one of my design team members,
She has donated this cricut cartridge "Just Because Cards" for the prize this week.
If you get the chance please head over and check out Michelle's blog......she makes the prettiest cards!

The rest of the Design Team have made some really cool shape cards , head over to "Birthday Sundaes" to get some great ideas.

Enjoy your weekend
Thankyou so much for stopping by and checking out what I've been creating.

Special Times........

Hello, I hope everyone is having a great week........mine has been quite busy, but I still found a little time to do this layout for Kaiser Saturday sketch  June #2.

The paper collection is "Utopia". I used the cricut to cut the title, the striped shape at the bottom and the scallop shape border above the stripe.
The colours of the paper were a perfect match for the photo!

If you get a chance head over to the Kaiser gallery and check out all the Beautiful creations.

Thanks so much 4 stopping by.........enjoy the rest of the week!

No pink here!!

Hi everyone,
I'm back with a layout that I am entering in the  Kaiser "Mix it up" newsletter challenge.........Its a recipe!

Rubon border around your layout
 Grungy pain splatters
Matching journal tag
 Outdoor Adventurous photos

METHOD: Mix together to create a fun layout!

So here is what I came up with.......

The paper is Kaiser "Military" We have to use at least 60% Kaiser on our layout. The tag is the only thing that isn't........I saved it from some clothing.

So what do you think?

Have a great week,
thankyou for stopping by

"Scrap the Girls" is having a colour challenge this month........I found this photo of Tori and Jordyn which went perfectly.
White - which you can't see because my background is white, pale pink, hot pink and black.

The paper I have used is Kaiser "Love Notes". The scallop circles of the flowers were cut with "mini monograms" cartridge and for the black scallop border I used Martha Stewart "Elegant cake". I still have a huge supply of little heart buttons which I bordered the photo with.

Yay......another page completed for Jordyn's Album

Thankyou so much 4 stopping by

This Kaiser "Gelato"collection is so pretty.

Dreams..........

Does it look like I am in Paris?..........I wish!! I'm actually sitting in the "Parisian Court Yard" at Universal Studios.
These are a few photo's taken on my trip to  America last year.
And how well do they go with this new Kaiser Collection "Gelato"! Its so pretty, lots of soft pastels........

My layout is based on the June #1 Kaiser sketch.

I tried to duplicate the colours of the flowers that were surrounding me in the courtyard.
These large roses I made. Every thing is Kaiser except the word Paris......I cut that from "Summer in Paris" cartridge.

Thankyou so much 4 visiting
Have a great week

I'm back today to tell you about a new Challenge Blog!

Rhonda of Scrap Happens with Rhonda and Amy of Love to Crop have teamed up to start a new challenge blog... Decorate to Celebrate.  The blog officially starts TODAY!
Its all about Decorations to Celebrate an occasion.............Cakes, Banners, Boxes, Flower Bouquets etc.

I am sooooooooo excited because............. Rhonda and Amy have asked me to be a GUEST designer for their first challenge. The theme is "Fathers Day".............In America Fathers Day is in June and in Australia its in September, its not a celebration I normally decorate for! So with this in mind............I decided to make something to celebrate my husband , being the best dad..... year round!
Here it is.............. I have to tell you the hardest part of this project was getting the kids to co-operate for the photo's!!! ha ha ha.

These cubes are "Kaiser" and are 4 inches square. I painted the edges white , then used double sided tape to adhere the paper.

This little envelope I cut using the cricut.......its to write a special message.

Here is  another way you could stack them.

And here is a few close ups.

This big Heart and the letter U are on the top cube........

I really had a lot of fun making these photo cubes!

I just want to say a BIG thank you to Rhonda and Amy for inviting me to be their guest, please head over to their Blog - Decorate to Celebate and be inspired by all the fabulous creations. The challenge will run every second Wednesday, lots of time to get creative, so head over there and join in the fun!

I have also linked this project  at PAPER ISSUE'S - anything to do with guys.......cards , layouts, altered items etc.

See You Soon...........have a fabulous week , thank you so much for stopping by
