Who's thinking of Christmas?

Wow.......this year is going so fast, Christmas will be here before you know it! Thought I'd better get last years photo's scrapped! Here is a double page layout I did for SGL Christmas in July( You might have seen the sneak peek?)

Birthday Sundaes # 24

Hi everyone, 

I have a fun card to show you today!

This week at Birthday Sundaes we have a photo inspiration challenge..........Look at these yummy cupcakes!

I loved the fluffy white icing and all those pretty coloured sprinkles.....
So this is what I came up with...............lots of buttons in different colours and shapes.

This cupcake is from 'Celebrations' cartridge.......With my Gypsy I welded two cupcake shapes together at the top. I used a paper crimper on the wrapper ( it does not show up that well in the photo) and a little embossing for my fluffy icing.

Hi there,

It is hard trying to find the time to do layouts at the moment..... I was so happy when I was able to do this one today for the Kaiser Sketch Challenge.

Most of the paper is from Kaiser's new collection 'Hunt and Gather'

When I saw this picture of the little boy with his dog I knew straight away what photo I was going to use......And how well do they match!  Its just simple , but I love the soft shades of blue. (My favorite color).

Pretty Papers

Today I have a few simple layouts to show you, that I did recently for "Scrappy-Go-Lucky" Mandy has this pretty paper for sale.....Its "Love Letters"12 x 12 pad.

I've cut flowers with the cricut to match  the ones on the pattern paper and some pretty borders from other cartridges.

This layout has more of the "Love Letters"paper, lots of different cricut cuts and a pretty doily.

Birthday Sundaes # 23

Its a Colour challenge this week at Birthday Sundaes. Lets see your PINK, GREEN and WHITE cards. This month Kristie celebrates her Birthday and these are her favorite colors.

Here is my card...............

 "Forever Young" was used to make this flower. I cut it in white card stock then spray it with ink to add the color, a little puffy paint on the tips and not forgetting a sprinkling of glitter! The stamp frame is from Elegant Edges. and the leaves are from Picturesque.

I love the Sketch that Cherie designed for us this week at "Sassy Lil' Sketches".

When I see Scallop circles,  straight away the only thing I can think about is Doilies. So guess what I have to show you this week.......yes another card with those gorgeous  doilies.

I love making my own flowers with the cricut.......this one has a little puffy paint on the tips for added dimension..... it creates such a pretty effect! And a sprinkling of diamond dust.

The paper I've used is Gelato by Kaiser.

Birthday Sundaes #22

Hey everyone,
I'm back with this weeks Birthday Sundaes card........The challenge this week is to add at least "3 Brads" to your Birthday card. Here is what I came up with.............

The flowers were cut using "George" and the paper is from the DCWV Citrus stack.

25 Today..............

I've been married to .....My best Friend, Love of my Life, for 25 years today. Can't wait for the next 25!

So , I thought I'd show you the anniversary card I made for my husband .

Its just simple but I like it!

I used Elegant Edges to cut the scallop frame and Gypsy Wanderings for the heart. The xo's are a Stampin up stamp and the corner flourish is Kaiser.

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to show you , its my first card as a "Sassy Lil' Sketches card" design team member, Yay!

Here is the  Sketch.........this was fun to follow, I love banners!

Here is a close up of the pretty doilies......Months ago I found a huge box of crochet cotton at an Charity shop.....I had planned on learning to crochet, but that didn't happen:)  So , I gave the box to my friend Anna. When she comes to visit she brings me doilies that she has made, I have quite the collection now! They are so pretty.

I used the Cricut to cut the leaves and banner.
