be filled with Happiness and Joy.

Hello.............I made this card today for my husband to send to his parents for their anniversary.
His mum loves this colour blue.
I used Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge to cut the flower .......I'm so happy it turned out very close to the flower on the pattern paper.

I had fun following the sketch from "365 Cards" .........I'm entering my card in the "Super Sketchy Sunday " challenge.
I 've just discovered this Blog, they have a different challenge everyday of the week........it looks like a lot of fun!

I've got lots I've baking to do tomorrow for the kids school canteen.........I'm off to get organised!

At the Shabby Tea Room...........

This week the theme is Pennant Party. Create a card or project inspired by the COLORS IN THE PHOTO and INCLUDE a PENNANTFLAG or BANNER!

I love Banners........So I just had to play along! But this week I decided to make a Flag:)

My inspiration for this card was the little envelope, so I made the card that shape, adding some pretty embellishments around that.

I used Art Philosophy cartridge to make the flower and the scallop flag.

Just fold the other side down to add your sentiment.

I'm still busy painting........... we have had so much wet weather the drying time between coats is longer than usual. I hope to finish the kitchen today.

Enjoy your Day

Post # 2 for today............LESSology

I am so excited to be 'LESSology's' guest designer for this month.
I love taking part in the monthly challenges.........the idea of  altering things and giving them a new life is so much fun:)

Here is what I came up with.

My idea for this challenge was to create a picture frame for my wall..........I arranged my photos in a  "Block" pattern. I thought of each photo block (canvas) like a quilt block, decorating each one differently!
I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges of all the pattern paper, inking and adding some pretty lace and charms, just like you can do if you were creating with material to form a quilt block.

I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges of all the pattern paper, inking and adding some pretty lace and charms, just like you can do if you were creating with material to form a quilt block.

I used an old Cork Board, painted the frame white and these are some of the recycle items. I used double sided tape to adhere paper to the cork.

Each square block is a mini canvas. This doily is from a table cloth I bought at a thrift store....its slowly getting smaller.

This is my Grandmother on her wedding day........the butterfly is from an old necklace.

This little clip was given to her when she was baptised...... Her name is engraved on it.

Some pretty recycled lace.

An old tea stained doily, some charms from an old necklace. I used pearl pins to hold them in place on the cork board.

My Grandmother lived until she was 102.......

I used an old necklace of mine to hang the picture.

I had a lot of fun making this for LESSology........a  BIG thankyou to Yvonne, Angie and the rest of the DT for having me on your Blog today.

I look forward to seeing what you create for this months challenge.

Spring is Near

Hello............hope you all had a great weekend!

"Spring is Near"on the other side of the world...........this is my card for the Shabby Tea Room challenge # 105.We were inspired by some pretty colours from this photo, adding at least 3 of the colours. We also need to add some 'Dry Embossing'........

My 3 colours are......
 Pink, Yellow and Green

The butterfly is embossed with tiny dots.

I enjoy making these Daisies using the 'Flower Shoppe' cartridge. A little inking , some glitter and puffy paint on the tips make it look really pretty:)
The doilies are Cheery Lyn 'English Tea Party'

Fun with Doilies and feathers.............

Mandy from 'Scrappy-Go-Lucky' celebrated her birthday last week....... I'd like to show you the
'Purse card I made for her and a little up-cycled creation.

I used 'Flower Shoppe' cartridge to make the flower. A kaiser doily stamp was used to create the pattern.

Mandy loves Thrift shopping .......just like me. So I decided to alter another jewellery stand to send to her as a gift.
Its similar to the one that I altered for "LESSology" .

You have to see the before photo first.......I'd started pulling it apart, when I remember I needed to take a photo.

Look at it now

This is the same flower that is on the card.......I cut a few more layers and made it larger.

As you can see , my glue gun has been getting a real work out!

And here is a sneak peak at more flowers that I've been creating......head over to 'Scrappy-Go-Lucky' to see my latest project.

Before I go I have to tell you some exciting news...............I won last weeks challenge at the
 "Shabby Tea Room"

Actually I couldn't believe it, I think I'm still in shock. It was one of those OMG moments.!
Yes, that's what I yelled out! The kids thought there was something really wrong.......ha ha ha.
I love visiting this blog........Everyone is so talented, so this is a real Honour........ thank you !

Thank you so much for stopping by.....all your comments are so appreciated

A gift box.............

Remember the card in my last post.............Tonight I made a little gift box to match.

Look at how cute it is:)

I'm having a lot of fun with the new cartridge "Tags, Bags, Boxes and more 2".
This box is the 'Dog house' on the cartridge. With my Gypsy I changed the dog door to a heart so it looks like a Bird house.

Have a great week everyone.........mine has started really well. I've Just discovered  my "Dress form stand" made the top 3 in the LESSology challenge 'Flights of Fantasy'.......... so excited:)

Thankyou soooooooooo much for visiting

Its nearly the weekend...Yay!
I really hope the rain stays away, we have had enough.

As I said in my last post I have a few friends who are having birthdays so I have been busy making cards.

This card I made with a few challenges in mind...........

The Shabby Tea Room - use the colours aqua, pink, green and add a tag. Love this colour combo so I had to play along.
Birthday Sundaes - Birthday card with a birthday sentiment. Its great to finally find the time to play along after leaving the DT.

One of my favourite cartridges is 'April Showers' - the images are quite simple, maybe a little whimsical looking............just what I love:)
The flowers and the bird house are from this cartridge. The doily is 'Cheery Lyn French pastry'. Martha Stewart punch for the scallop border.

Hope you all have had a great week

Hi everyone,

A few of my friends are having birthdays this month...........so I decided to have some fun creating with the new "Tag, Bags, Boxes and more 2" cartridge.

I could not wait to make this little tea cup...

I made all the flowers using the "Flower Shoppe" cartridge. The leaves are from "Picturesque".
I embossed the cup , added a little inking and a small doily.

The 'Tea Party' stamp is from Crafty Individuals.

Happy Birthday Shelley.........this is for You.

Visit Mandy at Scrappy-Go-Lucky she has these cartridges in stock.

Thank you to everyone for visiting
