Another Card

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been crafting much this past week.........the kids are on school holidays for two weeks so I've been out and about enjoying the warmer weather.

I did manage to do a quick card for my mothers Birthday which is in a few weeks time.
Cheery Lyn Designs latest challenge is "Keep it Krafty" - use Kraft paper on your entry and Cheery Lyn die's of course! I have used 3 dies ......2 of them I have cut with Kraft paper. The pretty papers and Vintage image are 'Pion Designs'. Both these products you can find at the Scrappy-Go-Lucky store.

I have a long list of jobs to complete to day.......wish me luck - I often get side tracked!

Have a great weekend

For You.........

              Hello,
I can't wait to show you what I have created for The Shabby Tea Room #133 this week.
Lenet is our host and she has chosen the prettiest photo.

Its "The WHITE Challenge"

Create a card/Project using 'White' and one other colour.
You can include additional neutrals - cream, black ,Kraft and brown.

I love the gorgeous Shabby looking Bird Cage in the photo, so I just had to create my own with paper.

The bird cage is from 'Straight from the Nest' cricut cartridge.Using my Gypsy I welded two bird cage shapes together at the top to form the card.....I've added foam mounting tape behind the top layer to add dimension. It is 6 1/2 inches tall. Lots of pretty white embellishments and you know how much I love my little heart buttons!
You can also hang the card.

How cute is the little Heart tag! Debbie Marcinkiewicz - owner of TSTR has just launched her new stamp company called "Paper Sweeties" this little tag is from their. Do you remember playing Paper doll dress up when you were a child? I did.......and loved it. These stamps are the same idea.......cute little girl stamps with mix and match clothes stamps. I'll have more to show you in a few weeks.

Paper Sweeties is sponsoring this weeks TSTR challenge.
The winner will have a choice of two stamp sets from the store.

Autumn Day.........

I can't believe its Friday..........Time to show you the layout I created for "Stuck on U Sketches Die cut challenge"
As the weather here is warming up on the other side of the world its "Fall".

The challenge is
"We rake, we pile, we jump"

In my front yard I have a 'Liquid Amber' tree which looks so pretty in the Autumn as the leaves change colour and fall. I actually don't do any of what the challenge title says.....oh....maybe jump! I love the leaves all over the ground!

The cartridges I used are ......... Serenade - Branch, A child's year - leaves, Base Camp - Day, April Showers - Bird House. A few rubons and some stamped branch images coloured in with water colour pencils, completes my simple layout.
Don't you just love the Bird House! It would have to be my favourite from any of the cartridges!

Thats it from me................You really have to head to SOUS and check out the fabulous creation the rest of the Design Team have created.....you really will be inspired!

Thank you so much for visiting.........Enjoy your Day

Stuck on U Sketches

Hello,

Its time for another sketch challenge from Stuck on U Sketches Card team.

Leah has been very creative designing this sketch for us.

Its the perfect sketch for using up that scrap paper we all have in our stash. I used papers in my favourite colour.

. The scallop circle frame was cut using Elegant Edges cartridges.........You would never know it was a cereal box. I'm so happy my kids love Nutrigrain..........I have quite the stock pile of boxes, it saves me having to buy chip board. If I want a thicker result I just cut it twice. I like Nutrigrain because of its 'Kraft' colour........other boxes can be a bit grey. At a recent Scrapbook expo a Lady I met told me, she cuts lots of things from 'Lean Cuisine' boxes.....apparently they have a nice design on the inside.  What a fabulous way to recycle and save money!
The Design Team are so creative, they have some beautiful cards to show you!
I hope to see you over at Stuck on U Sketches, come join in the fun!

I'll be back on Friday to show you what I've created for the SOUS die cut team
See You then

Shabby Tea Room - week # 132

Hello,
I'm so happy you stopped by to see my first post for The Shabby Tea Room!.......so exciting!
Look at this pretty table setting.

Debbie is our creative host this week and she has chosen the theme ,
"Pretty Party"
along with this great photo for inspiration. Debbie asks that you create a card/project using the colours Pink and Green and flowers.

My inspiration came from the pretty green lanterns and the table cloth.
The gift box was cut using the cricut cartridge Tags Bags Boxes and More 2...... mini pizza box. It was the perfect size for the pretty square label.

This week we have two sponsors -

Sponsor #115 (2)

I have used "Square Labels"digital paper on my card and gift box.

Sponsor - Bugaboo

I have used "Ava XO" Digital stamp.

Now its time to visit The Shabby Tea room for more inspiration from these very creative ladies.

Debbie - Simple Treasures
Lenet - To Scrap or not to Scrap, that's the Question.
Rebekah - Midnight Lullabies

Put me in Coach!

What a great theme this week at "Stuck on U Sketches" die cut challenge!

I have so many SOCCER photos that need scrapping, so ........."Put me in Coach " was perfect!

We would love to see your Sports related die cuts.

Here is the  Double page layout I made for my  'Soccer crazy' son's album.

I used "Life's a Party" cartridge for the titles and soccer balls,  "Martha Stewart All Occasional Cake art " for the banner, a few rub-ons and lots of photos!

This was a fun challenge............I hope you can join us!

My oldest daughter is celebrating her 22nd Birthday on Sunday. I am still in the middle of creating a card and a few other things for her..........nothing like leaving things to the last minute! I'm trying to tell myself I work better under pressure.........I don't know about that, we'll see!!!

Back to "Shabby" on Monday............I am a guest designer at "The Shabby Tea Room"
