Puppy Love

Hey there........so nice of you to stop by!
Today I'd like to share a layout I've created for the 'January Kaiser Challenge'.

JAN_colours_blog
Colour palette , Paper flowers and stamping.

All the papers are from 'Kaiser Bow and Arrow Collection. I use George cricut cartridge to cut the flowers and Paper Pups for the title 'Puppy Love'. I stamped the tiny flowers and the sentiments on the tags. Love this and So Happy and the leaves are also Kaiser stamps. A bit of stitching some sequins, ink splatters......thats it :)
Our Puppy is now 14 weeks old and into everything. Major Puppy proofing going on here!!
Have a fabulous week

Get well Soon

Hey Everyone,
The new die cut challenge is up at 'Stuck on U Sketches'.
The theme is " Warm  and Cosy"
At the moment being Warm and Cosy is the last thing on my mind! We have had some really hot days this week!
But.......
When I'm not feeling well, my favorite place to be is in bed........all Warm and Cosy! So with that in mind ......... How cute is the little puppy in bed with a thermometer in his mouth.
Here's my super Cas Card.

I've used Paper Pups cricut cartridge to cut the Puppy and sentiment on the inside of the card. The black frame was cut with George.

Have fun with the challenge, Happy creating!

Endless Summer

Hey Everyone,
Today I had fun creating with this sketch and inspiration photo from "Sketchy Boards"

I've used a mixture of Kaiser papers.....I'm really trying to use up my older papers before I buy anymore. But that is easier said than done.......I really don't like a lot of what I have, my taste has changed. I do like these papers.......the colours work perfectly with my beach photos.
The title 'endless summer' was cut using cricut Art Booking cartridge.

So nice of you to visit me today

Remember this moment

Helloooo.....I put down my paint brush this afternoon to do this sketch from "Stuck
The layout came together quite fast.......the longest part was trying to find the photo on my not very organised computer. Another New years resolution to add to the list....organise  photos better!!
I love this photo of my daughter and her fiance :)
The flowers were made using cricut 'Mothers Day Bouquet'. I still have quite the stash of tiny doilies....I  love adding them to the centre of flowers. When my friend Anna makes the doilies, she always leaves a long thread ....which I  think looks kinda cool left hanging.

So nice of you to stop by.......enjoy your week

The Shabby Tea Room #244

Hello Everyone,
Forcast Freezin?
is the new challenge in The Shabby Tea Room. How cute is this photo for inspiration.
I must admit, I found this challenge a little difficult......I did not want my
winter card  to look Christmasy!
So
instead of a snow man .........Here's my snow girl. I used cricut A Quilted Christmas to cut her.
I added rubons to the rustic background paper for more detail - some buttons, ric rac and flowers. Cold Weather Warm Hearts is a stamp from Paper Sweeties who is sponsoring us this week.

I'm wishing for a little cooler weather here at the moment........it has been really warm! In the afternoon we usually have storms  to cool things down, but we haven't had any! No air conditioning , so I have been spending lots of time in the pool. Not a lot of craft is happening :( But, I'm still busy painting walls...lounge dinning done, kitchen finished today.  I will catch up with you all soon.

Be sure to have a look at what the other DT have created....lots of gorgeous creations to inspire you.

Snapshot

Hey Everyone,
I'd like to show you the layout I have created for the Die cut challenge at Stuck on U Sketches.
SNOW is the theme. Die cut anything to do with snow...easy !
This photo was taken on Christmas Eve 2011.....we had the best day, so many laughs...watching my children on skis for the first time.

I wanted my whole layout to look like snow.......As you can see I have layered white on white , with a few touches of Aqua washi tape.

Artbooking cricut cartridge was used to cut the overlay, I popped up the cut out snow flakes, added some tiny doilies ,buttons a little stamping and some ink splatters.
Lets see what you create!
Happy Monday

Winter Wonderland

How fast has this week gone........Time flies when your having fun!
I took a little time out from painting walls today to play along with the sketch challenge at "Stuck"
Here is what I came. up with....
I used 'Winter Frolic' Cricut cartridge to cut Winter Wonderland. I ran it through my Xyron to create a sticker , then applied lots of glitter........I really love all the sparkle:)
I still have hundreds of holiday photos to scrap! Most of them I'll put in a Project Life style album to speed up the process.
Over at 'djkardkreations'...Darnell runs a challenge called NBUS - which stands for 'never before used stuff'. I'm sure a lot of you can relate to this! Darnell encourages us to use our NBUS.......so I'm linking this layout up. My NBUS is a Memory box cherry blossom die which I used to cut the small blue felt flower tucked in behind the photo and at the top of the layout.

Hope you are enjoying a great week

The shabby tea room #243

Hello
Baby its Cold Outside is the theme of the new challenge at 'The Shabby Tea Room'
Don't you just love this inspiration photo!
I can't wait to see what you create!
Here is what I came up with.
I have used 'Valentine toppers' from ' The Cutting Cafe'. Love the pre-printed sentiments!
Love U a Latte cricut cartridge was used to cut the cup shape card. I added some texture with a  felt flower, a heart, which I stitched around and some pretty lace for the bow.
Be sure to stop by The Shabby Tea Room to see what the rest of the DT have created.

New Year.......New Look! For my house that is! Three days ago we ripped up the carpet from our lounge dinning area......We have been busy painting, getting ready for a new floor.

In between coats of paint drying, I'll gradually make my way around to see what you have been up to.

Happy 2015
