For You

Hi Everyone,
I made this Shabby little card yesterday for a friends Birthday.
The pretty papers are 'Needle and Thread'  by Kaiser...its a real favorite of mine. I've used collectables from the same collection then added Doilies, buttons and lace....oh, and a torn page from a dictonary.
You are SEW special

The inside of the card is Kraft....I stamped this rose image then coloured it in with eye shadow. ( Like I explained in yesterdays post)
Looking at it now maybe I should have used pink.....but in case it didn't look good , I went with gold....this gave just a slight shimmer to the kraft.

Maria from 'Very Special Creations' said you can also add it to your home made mists..........thanks for that great tip Maria :)
Enjoy your week
Happy creating

Cheers

Hey Everyone,
There is a new Die cut challenge at 'Stuck on U Sketches
the theme is Clothes
Here I am....the Maid of Honor at a friends wedding in October 2014. It was a lot of fun getting all dressed up......I'm  a jeans and T shirt kinda person, so this was different for me!!

In the top right side of the page I have used lots of rub on to add more flowers to the page
'Nifty Fifties' cricut cartridge was used to cut the dress form
I made the flowers using 'Art Philosophy' cartridge.
My daughter was throwing out these eye shadows out....... I must be able to use them for something I thought!......Yep, I added a small amount of glue to the center of the flowers , then with the sponge applicator I dusted a little purple eye shadow over them. They have a real shimmer, its a bit hard to see in the photo. mmm.....the possibilities ??...I love recycling and saving money!
I followed this sketch from "Stuck?"
I am also linking up with 'Red Carpet Studio'
Each day a different member of the die cut team have a project to show you.......be sure to visit.
Sometimes everyday life takes over from crafting.....I have had no time to visit you, but I will soon.

Capture the Details

Hi everyone,
I have created this layout following the sketch and colour challenge from "Sketchy Boards"
A great sketch for using up all those scraps of papers! I've added some stitching with gold thread...that was a bit of a challenge - it kept getting caught up in the machine! Some enamel dots, stamping, sequins, handmade flowers.
I used 'Art Booking' cricut cartridge for the title. The background paper is white....it looks cream in the photo :(

We are expecting a cyclone to hit the coast in the early hours of the morning.
Lots of scrapping over the next few days I think!

So nice of you to visit....thankyou

Celebrate

Hello......so nice of you to visit!
I made this shabby little card a month ago for a friends birthday...I forgot to share it!
The Polaroid card is from Typo....I sugar coated the rim of the glass with glitter, a little lace, crinkle ribbon and a gorgeous doily! Celebrate is a stamp from 'Paper Sweeties'

On the inside... the recipe!
Have a great week everyone

The Shabby Tea Room #246

Hey Everyone,
Its time to show you the card I have made for the new challenge at The Shabby Tea Room
Mason Jar Love  is the theme...along with this pretty photo for inspiration.

Kate's ABC cricut cartridge was used to cut the jar . I added lots of sequins , tiny beads and sparkley butterflies to the mason jar shaker. I ripped some pages from an old dictionary for the flower...adding a pretty doily and button.
The sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps..you could win 7 digital stamps by joining us! I have used 'Butterfly tag' from Bugaboo.
Be sure to check out the pretty projects the other DT members have created.
Happy Monday to you

Birthday

Helloooooooooo,

I really liked this sketch from "Stuck?"
combined with this gorgeous colour challenge from "Scrapmuch?
To play along all you need to do is use at least 4 of the colours.......
I have used red, Aqua - light and dark, Coral buttons, grey in the title and Green salad!
Can you see the background in the photo? A perfect match to the Kaiser background paper! Cricut Art Booking cartridge was used to cut the title 'Birthday'.
I can't believe how fast this week is going...time flies when your having fun.

Wonderful Moments....

Hey Everyone...happy Monday to You!

Today I would like to share the layout I created for the latest Die cut challenge at 'Stuck on U Sketches'.
Key to my Heart
We would like to see Hearts, Locks and /or Keys

I really liked the Heart overlay HERE, but I do not have the program to be able to cut it.........so I created my own in 'Cricut Craft Room' using George cartridge welding all the hearts together. I then sprayed it with Heidi Swapp colour shine......it has a beautiful shimmer. Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge was used to make the flowers. They are the same as the ones I created a few posts back. HERE. On the solid white hearts I stamped the definition of LOVE in a pale pink.....its a little hard to read.

The renovation of my living area has been keeping me busy.....its nearly done!
I'll be visiting you soon

Have a great week

The Shabby Tea Room # 245

Hey Everyone.......happy Monday to you!
Its time to start creating  for your 'Valentine'
The new challenge theme at The Shabby Tea Room is 'I {Heart} You'
along with this pretty photo for inspiration.
My Artistic Adventures Etsy is sponsoring this challenge.
I have used 'Vintage Victorian Shabby Chic cupid arrow postcards and Vintage Valentine Sweethearts digital paper on both cards.
I really love the pretty Heart prints........Here's another card with the blue paper. I have used 'Life's a Party cricut cartridge to cut the Heart shape card and 3 D Bows for the paper bow.  The heart shape window was created in Cricut Craft Room. I covered the edges with gold paint ( I have no ink) I know it looks a bit messy!  I rubbed it on with my fingers, then I picked up the bow, which then left paint where I  didn't want it.....Oh well.......lets call it 'Shabby' ?

Paper Sweeties 'Hello Friend' stamp set for the inside.

Lets see Your {Heart} creations........for a chance to win some pretty papers.
Be sure to check out what the other DT members have created

Happy Crafting
