Hi everyone,
I am really enjoying the challenges over at LESSology..........it is all about up cycling. The designers are so creative.....so many wonderful ideas, head over there and take a peek.
This weeks challenge is all about 'Wall Art'
I decided to alter this silver tray ..... which is black most of the time! My mother gave it to me a while ago , I think she hated polishing it too!
I started to spray paint it white, when I remembered I needed to take a before photo.
So here it is kind of painted.
My husband drilled the holes, I then added some flower shape eyelets.
"My Wall Art"
Art Philosophy cartridge was used to cut the scallop circle and the hearts.
I sanded the edges of the tray to expose the silver .....I think you can just see it in the photo.
I glued two chip board letters together for extra thickness....... painted them white, covered them in glossy accents then sprinkled them with lots and lots of white glitter.
My Up Cycled item is the tray and a little lace. Another two trays are being stored in a box....can't wait to transform them:)
Thank you for visiting
Tracey
