All Natural Beauty

Hello Crafty friends,
Kraft Plus has a wonderful challenge this month

What's the Buzz
Be inspired by Bees and/or  Amanda Hall's
BEE-RILLIANT graphic.

I loved everything about this graphic......Colour, bees and Hexagon shapes.
Sometimes what you plan in your head , just doesn't work on first page ended up in the bin! So, this is 'Take 2'
Love this photo of my 2 daughters and their cousin taken last month, while they were visiting family in Canada. Its not often they get to see their cousins....they had an amazing time :)

The background overlay was cut out twice with Artbooking cricut cartridge. I glued the two layers together for extra dimension, then hand cut it into the shape I wanted. I embossed and inked a few of the cut out Hexagons then added them back into the design.

Art Philsophy cricut cartridge was used to cut the flowers and leaves, I've added a sprinkling of micro beads to the center. I couldn't believe I had some Bee Buttons in my stash....Perfect! I cut the back thingy off then added them to the center of the cute!

Love these tiny doilies.....they always see, to find a place on most of my pages.

Happy Creating

Hey Everyone.....hope you have had a wonderful week!

"Let's Get Sketchy" has this great sketch for inspiration.

My daughter celebrated her 21st Birthday recently. She requested a Giant Donut for her Birthday cake! The hardest part about making this was finding a pan that was the right shape. Its not Perfect but, it tasted great!

I've used lots of pretty pink papers, I die cut the tiny doilies, then added more pretty things. Gelatos were used to water colour the background.
Donut 'Forget how special you are'
Donut is stamped, I used my typewriter for the rest of the journalling.
I had fun creating this page.......thank you for stopping by, Have a great weekend!

Happy Spring Everyone!
Its a new month...that means new challenges.
Sketchy boards has a great challenge.......A sketch and Recipe

No automatic alt text available. No automatic alt text available.

Spring is in the Air and on my layout

Lots and lots of  daisies....I used Art Philosophy cricut cartridge to cut them. The yellow center of the flowers was re-cycled from old silk flowers, I really like how they look on my paper daisies. The recipe asks for 3 doilies...I have used 6. A few wood veneer butterflies and a sprinkle of sequins.

The photos were taken at Toowoomba 'Carnival of Flowers'
Tori and I were trying to make it look like we were laying in a field.
Can't wait to visit again this year.

Hope you can join the challenge

Just Us

Hey Everyone,
I thought I would squeeze in one last page before the end of the month.
Kaiser challenge for August is 'Cogs'
I was so excited to be one of the winners for the July challenge😊I was even happier when I received my prize in the was 'Factory 42 Collection' Perfect for this challenge!
Hmmm....My first thought was - how do I shabby up Cogs? I did plan on creating a masculine page but .......this happened instead.
Well, its kinda masculine
I used cricut Artist cartridge to die cut the large cog, first from Factory 42 paper, then from a cereal box for extra dimension. I stuck one on top of the other, then stitched around it.

Enjoy your week

Winter Wonderland

 Hey There Everyone,
Yep, another Snow page to show you! This one is for the August challenge at
Be inspired by trees.
Using Kraft as a background is a real challenge for me.....I like light coloured backgrounds or white. So, each month I continue to enter the challenges to put my self outside my comfort zone........often I think , silly me what am I doing! Anyway, after an initial struggle, I usually end up liking what I've created.
I had this happy with how it turned out!

I used my cricut to die cut the trees and title.  I added Diamond dust to the snow capped trees, they really shimmer. It does not show up in the photo that well.

Thanks for a great challenge Kraft Plus
Be sure to check out the DT inspiring, so many awesome ideas!

Hello.....just a quick post to share a card.
I had fun making this with lots of my favorite bits and Pieces, for a friends Birthday.
It was only when I came to adding the photo here....I realized that I had forgotten to add the sentiment to the front. Do you ever mess up when you are in a hurry? Well I did! With the front complete all I had to do was finish the inside.........I stamped a verse inside, got ink on my hands which then smudged everywhere. Out came more pattern paper to cover up the mess, I then quickly put it in an envelope....thats how I forgot to finish the front.
I made the large flower, added a doily .... the tiny resin rose in the center is an earing.

Yesterday I told you I was busy baking
Classic Choc Chip, Dark Choc with white chips and Double Choc chips.
I think its time for a coffee!

This week I've really enjoyed having some time to  play along with a few challenges. When I saw this sketch from "Lets Get Sketchy" straight away I knew what papers I would use!

A few friends and I visited this lovely store 'Shabby Treasures Down the Lane". We had fun shopping and enjoyed a nice morning tea. I added the tiny die cut swan.......I'm sure I saw a cement one of these at the shop. My lovely friend Anna , she is sitting on the far right.....crochets all the tiny doilies I use on my projects.

There is a few more days left in the month....hmmm maybe I can squeeze in another challenge?

Happy Creating Everyone

Hey Everyone,
I've been busy scrapping holiday photos....I really like playing along with "Stuck?" Sketches.

First up is this sketch...I really like the idea of adding a large title!
I've used pretty papers from Kaiser 'Island Escape' collection. I made the flowers using my cricut and flower market cartridge....a little inking and moulding to form the shape. This was my first try of  fresh 'Coconut milk' was yum. Loved eating the coconut afterwards too!
next up is this sketch
This photo was taken at 'Yosemite National park'.....Tunnel View. Every photo I took looked like a postcard, the views were amazing! I've layered lots of tags, a few pretty flowers which I've had in my stash forever...they match the pattern paper perfectly and wooden buttons. The title is chip was quite a few different colours before I decided to keep it neutral and inked over everything with white, I thought it looked better blending with the background.
Thank you for visiting
Enjoy you week

Feeling Rosey :)

Hey Everyone,
Have you seen the July challenge at 'Kraft plus'?
Kraft + Roses 3 ways

Oh how I love flowers.....I could not wait to get started 😊
I've used a gorgeous photo of the wedding party from my daughters wedding.

I used my cricut to cut the wreath from 'Flower Market' cartridge and 'Flower Shoppe' cartridge for the large pink roses.
Rose back round paper, resin rose, tiny red paper roses, a rose flair and stamped roses. I've also added a few tiny white doilies.....can they be white roses? I've also added two super cute tiny ceramic doves....they are a little hard to spot :)

Thank you for a fun challenge.....have a Happy Day
