Holiday scrapping

Hey Everyone,
Spring is in the air.....I can't wait for the weather to warm up. This past week I have been trying to get holiday photos in a pocket album. I add the odd 12 x 12  as a title page.
I'm playing along with "Lets get Sketchy"
Just after Christmas last year we enjoyed a holiday to Tasmania.
I've used papers from a very old Kaiser collection, some brads too for the center of the crochet flowers. I showed my husband this page..he said I don't remember seeing any deer? We didn't but it looked good with the photos...lol. But we did see lots of wombats!

Hope you are enjoying a crafting week

Its all Good

Hey Everyone,
A few months ago my daughter and I had a wonderful holiday in Hawaii. As you can imagine, I have so many photos! I usually create project life style albums for holidays with the odd 12 x 12 page...like below. Here we are enjoying Margarita's😊
I've used 'Rosies Studio' Lets Get Together collection on the page. The lighting in the restaurant was very red...and so are we....ha ha ha

I'm playing along with 'Lets Get Sketchy' challenge following this sketch
and fabulous mood board.

Lets get Sketchy

Hello and Happy Monday to you!

Today I'm playing along with 'Lets get Sketchy'
What a great sketch! I love doillies......I was so tempted to add them to my page but then thought 'why not mix it up a bit'. At the moment I am really enjoying using cut files on my pages. The idea was to  kind of match the rose in the pattern paper with the die cut. I added vellum to the leaves to create a soft look.
Hand made flowers, doilies and a pin wheel for my little embellishment cluster
Go HERE  if you would like the free flower cut file. There are lots to choose from.
This past week the weather has really cooled down....perfect for spending time in my craft room.

FUN

Hey Everyone,
Today I'm playing along with "Lets Get Sketchy" April challenge.

I had fun creating a shaker style star.....I picked a rainbow of colours for the sequins to match the wigs my children are wearing.

The fun papers are from a collection called "Hello Gorgeous" I bought at Aldi.
So Happy to have completed another page for the kids album.

Next up is "Sketchy Boards" challenge
Fussy cut, Flowers, Tag

If you visit me often you would know I love using crochet doilies for my flowers. The leaves are stamped then fussy cut out. I've added 3 tags at the top of the page and a super cute tiny wooden  tag hanging from a flower!

the MOMENTS we SHARE

Hey Everyone,
 Happy Monday to you!
Today I'm playing along with the second sketch of the month with "Lets get Sketchy"

This page coordinates with the layout in my previous post. The papers are an older Kaiser collection 'Sweet Nothings'

The flowers are a combination of stickers, die cuts and fussy cut from flowers from pattern paper. The hearts  are punched out from the same paper as the background ...I like the subtle texture they add!
I went back and added some hearts to my first page too.

Enjoy your week, Happy Crafting

A Moment in Time

Hello,
Today I'm playing along with "Lets Get Sketchy"

In February this year we visited Canada to surprise my Husbands father for his 90th Birthday. We enjoyed dinner at a restaurant called "Bistro Seven Seven". The building has a lot of old world charm. I've chosen pattern papers that would suit the decor.

Time to work on the adjoining page with the second sketch of the month.
Enjoy the weekend.......so nice of you to visit, Thank you 😊

Donut

Hey Everyone.....hope you have had a wonderful week!

"Let's Get Sketchy" has this great sketch for inspiration.

My daughter celebrated her 21st Birthday recently. She requested a Giant Donut for her Birthday cake! The hardest part about making this was finding a pan that was the right shape. Its not Perfect but, it tasted great!

I've used lots of pretty pink papers, I die cut the tiny doilies, then added more pretty things. Gelatos were used to water colour the background.
Donut 'Forget how special you are'
Donut is stamped, I used my typewriter for the rest of the journalling.
I had fun creating this page.......thank you for stopping by, Have a great weekend!

Friends

This week I've really enjoyed having some time to  play along with a few challenges. When I saw this sketch from "Lets Get Sketchy" straight away I knew what papers I would use!

A few friends and I visited this lovely store 'Shabby Treasures Down the Lane". We had fun shopping and enjoyed a nice morning tea. I added the tiny die cut swan.......I'm sure I saw a cement one of these at the shop. My lovely friend Anna , she is sitting on the far right.....crochets all the tiny doilies I use on my projects.

There is a few more days left in the month....hmmm maybe I can squeeze in another challenge?

Happy Creating Everyone
