Vintage Charm...TSTR # 137

I'm so excited to be hosting this weeks challenge at "The Shabby Tea room"
I have chosen the theme "Vintage Charm" along with this pretty picture for inspiration.

I would love to see your card/project using colours  from the photo, add a Flower and a Charm to your creation.

I can see a display of books and pretty charms like this in my home:) Any excuse to visit an OP shop!
When I chose the picture I had no idea what I was going to create.......then I remembered something that I always wanted to do.
Turn an old book into a Pretty little Box.
I have never done this before.....it was lots of fun to make.

What is a book without a pretty bookmark! I've used "Paper Sweeties" Abigail and Little Wishes sets.

I am going to use this box to store my "Paper Sweeties" stamps. Its the perfect size!

The most time consuming part of this project was cutting the pages out of the book...........look at the pretty flower I made with them!

Here is the before photo........I remembered to take one when I was in the middle of painting the edges of the book.

I hope you made it to the end, after all those photo's.
