Hello and Welcome Back
Halloween Party Day 3
Hope you are having fun seeing everyone's creations!

I've been doing some re-cycling......here is the before photos of an old dress form jewelry stand. I started out by changing the colour of the bodice to purple with copics. Then decided I hated it!!
So, I came up with another idea.........Washi Tape.

Ta Da.........Its now a Witch!

The bodice is covered in 'Washi Tape'. When I started I wasn't sure how it would go......but it turned out great!
The only thing I had to buy to make this was the spiders!
The spider web lace made the perfect cape!  I also managed to add a cute crochet doily to the dress and hat. The dress is made from one sheet of 12 x 12 pattern paper.... cut  in triangle strips, I punched a design on the bottom edge, then hot glued it too the waist. More lace and some shaggy looking black wool was also added to create layers.

For the top section of the hat, I used 'Princess Party' cricut cartridge.....Party Hat.

  24. Looking at this through my phone screen didn't do this justice at all. I couldn't wait to have time to sit in front of the computer and REALLY look at this. I was so amazed at how you go the washi tape pattern so perfectly on the chest. It looks absolutely professional and crocheting is near and dear to my heart, so I love those crisp autumn color pieces. It's truly an outstanding venture in creativity and fun and you've hit more than a home run with this. Fantastic lesson in up-cycling and WOW....does it ever put me in the mood for Halloween! LOOOOOVE it!!
