Flower Power

Hello.....it seems like forever since I have posted anything on my blog, I suppose it has not been that long! It just feels like a while because prior to Christmas I was in card production so every few days I had a post. Anyway......I thought I'd pop in today and show you what I've been up to....no cards....no layouts......just lots and lots of Flowers!

My daughter is getting married in April.......she asked me if I would make paper flowers to decorate the tables at the reception. Soooooooo thats all I've been doing! Its been so much fun , I love making flowers.......I'm so happy with how they have turned out:)

I recently completed an online class with Anna Fearer, she makes the most amazing flowers! Thank you for all the great tips Anna :)
I have used pattern papers  for a few flowers.......I kinda like the character it adds to them, along with lots of shaping and inking. I still need to tape the wire on these. My cricut is getting a major work out! I have a few other colours to add to the collection, as I make more I'll post some pics.

Have a great day everyone
Happy Creating
Tracey

  13. Oh my word! Is that just for one table? That's a LOT of flowers to make. You have got to be working around the clock. The colors are scrumptious and the flowers look like you'd pick them up and try to smell them...they're beautiful! Major Mom points for all this, ya know :) Congratulations to your daughter and can't wait to see the rest of the pictures as they unfold.
