DIY Wedding decorating

Hello Everyone,
My blog has been very much neglected the last few months........As chief decorator for my daughters wedding I have been really busy! Well, She was married on the weekend.......the weather was PERFECT, it was a fabulous day. We still have family visiting from Canada....so over the last few days we have been playing tour  guides.

I'm a little late posting my project for "Sketchy Boards" March challenge.
 How pretty is this photo!

My project using the colours from the photo. This is what I've been doing for the last couple months...making flowers, lots and lots of flowers! My cricut has been getting a major work out :)

I punched lots of gold glitter hearts.

Table number tags with a strip of gold glitter and gold numbers

A little paint on an old suit case, lined with the same paper that I have used on some of the flowers. "Rock Princess" cricut cartridge was used to cut 'CARDS'......love the Hearts on the font!
The Marque Heart is from Heidi Swapp......I covered it in gold glitter too.

My daughters mother in law made the cakes......they are covered in white chocolate, so delicious! More flowers..........."Always & Forever" was cut with my cricut, sorry I  can't remember the cartridge.

My son made the wooden frame, my daughter painted it white...... I made the Giant Heart.
A real family affair!

I've been saving these Jam Jars  for candles for months and months.....love the etched design in the glass. My Husband helped by eating the jam, LOL!  We found the pretty water colour prints on line some where ( when I have more spare time I will add links) to create simple place cards, which coordinated with the invitations. I gave my daughters husband a quick lesson on embossing...As I cut he embossed!

Such a cute Chapel

The Bride and Groom

I hope you have enjoyed all the photos.........by the end of the month things should get back to normal around here, I think I need a Holiday.

It will probably be a few more weeks before I have time to visit you,
Thanks so much for visiting me

Tracey
