2 Layouts

 Hey Everyone,
I have new carpet......no more old fashion mushroom pink! Ever since we moved here I've wanted to get rid of it...thats 17 years ago. Yesterday was it...Yay...doing a little Happy Dance 😊 So, while is was being installed I had time to play along with a few challenges.

My daughter and I spent a fun day in the city on her Birthday.....both layouts are from that day.

This next page is for "Scrapping Outback"

Riding around the city , we came across this gorgeous Hibiscus painting.... I used the lines in photo as a starting point to plan my page.


I punched all the flowers from water colour paper...lots of stamped birthday sentiments! 'Today' is covered in Glitter. The butterflies are chip board covered in picket fence distress stain.


I'd love to know what you think of how I took the pictures of these layouts? I found taking the photo front on, I didn't have a problem with shadows and it was more true to colour.

    Yayyy to new carpet, I bet it is so nice and soft too... your layouts are both so pretty, gorgeously shabby and love the flowers with buttons too... and great way to display the layouts to take photos of, and I find it is trial and error to find the best light and way to get a great photo.. enjoy what is left of the week .. and month for that matter!!!

    Waaaay too long since I've checked in here! So glad I stopped tonight. These are both beautiful! Such pretty colors and that hibiscus painting...what an awesome find that was. Gorgeous layouts!

    First of all.... YAY for you getting new carpet! Oh how nice that must be after so long! :) I would totally lay on the carpet & roll around right after they installed it... cuz it never looks as good as the first day they lay it down! LOL And Secondly... WOW... both Layouts are stunning.... the photo's are wonderful and the embellishments are always so perfect! LOVE them! Have a great day! :)
