Just be U...........

I've wanted to put these photos on a layout for a while, so I started playing around with colors, which I thought worked really well with these photo's.

Here are a few close ups of the flowers which I made using the cricut. I also cut the butterflies with the cricut. The stem of leaves is kaiser chip board, and a pretty doily .

Olive Green is not a favourite colour of mine, but I think it worked well the the photos.
So that's my simple layout.................Would you call it minimal ? There is a word for layouts with not much on them, but I can't think of it at the moment!

    but you are such a sweetheart and i love you so much :)

    i like olive green and your layout is beautiful. i do not know about any layout rules but the rule of three and then i can't even do that-lol.
    a follower of mine told me once "just have fun with it". i will keep to that rule when i get to scrapbook.
    just have fun!

    but i have to tell you your work is marvelous everytime---rules or no rules. and i enjoy coming here and seeing your creations.

  14. I love this LO... Love the colors, the paper combinations, the layers, the flowers, the IA butterfly. Everything seems like it was meant to be placed on this LO....How can you call it simple????

    It really makes me feel like I want to get into scrapbooking world when I see layouts like yours. I love your style!
