Vintage swimmers

Hey everyone,
Here is a layout  that I put together over the weekend.
Jordyn is modelling my mums "Cole of California"swimsuit, that she wore when she was 15. After talking to my mother and telling her about the layout ,she said she had a photo of her self in it. How lucky was I to be able to add that to the page too!
I hate my hand writting, but this page really needed some more details about the photo's, I tried to make it blend so it looked part of the background. It kinda works I think?
The paper is a new Kaiser collection - Blae and Ivy........I love the soft tones. I cut the branch and flowers from Serenade cartridge and the tags from Sweet Treats. The title is from Wall Decor and More.

Enjoy your week
Thanks for stopping by
Tracey

  4. Lovely Tracey and your handwriting is fine, (its a part of you on the LO) How great are those photos new and old. I bet your mum loved this LO. I cant believe that she has had the bathers all these years. I will have to go and revisit Serenade as that branch and flowers are gorgeous.

  5. How great that your family has hung onto that classic swimsuit all those years! to be able to have a photo of your mum and daughter wearing it... now how about you whip it on for all 3 generations? LOL. I love the way you melted the writing into the background to add the story without it overpowering the soft tones of the layout. Well done!

  6. What a gorgeous memory to keep! I love those beautiful colours! I am smitten with the idea of two moments in time in the same bathing suit! I already adore vintage swimmers, but to have them on two loved ones, and be allowed to take photos, is so so wonderful! Your handwriting is perfect to tie it all together, and so personal too! X

  11. Gorgeous pics and LO! Love those new pp's and how you cut out the flowers...so pretty and soft. And the journaling totally works here! I do like how it blends in, but I also think you have really pretty handwriting - don't be afraid to use it more conspicuously! :)
