How could I resist playing along!
Here is my recycled item........This cute jar was used for 'icing sugar'......I would sprinkle it over sweets I baked.
LOOK how pretty it looks now:)
I sprayed the lid white, then made lots of pretty flowers from buttons and doilies.........enough to fill every hole in the lid.
The heart charm is recycled too.
It now sits in the middle of my dinning table looking, oh so pretty:)
If you have a huge supply of buttons like me......this is a great way to use them up!

Hi Tracey this is just gorgeous what a pretty vase you made , I love those little flowers and the crocheting is fabulous.You asked about the mould making yes there are lots of tuts on YouTube just look up silicone moulds , you can use UTEE in the molds too its so easy to do and you can make just about anything.

ReplyDeleteHi Tracey, this is a lovely project. I had to respond also because in my dishwasher at present are a heap of very old small jars I bought home years ago from the Thursday island dump!! (Can you believe). I also have heaps of old buttons (from the original shop on the island when it closed down) and have them all over my table at present ready to sort into the jars!! LOL
