Not a card or scrapbook page

Hello Everyone,

Is your life as busy as mine? Not a  lot of creating happening here at the moment! I thought I'd stop by and show you a fun project that a created a few weeks ago.
You can just see the corner of a shelf that sits above my computer desk.....it displays a few pretty bits and pieces. But this electrical board ruined the whole look!

So........ I came up with this idea to cover it. The canvas sits right over the top.....no hooks, nails etc. It just balances on the electrical box, you would never know that ugly thing was underneath! The is canvas is 18 inches square.

I used a Kaiser stencil and gold paint to sponge the design onto the canvas. It looks yellow in the photos....but it really does have a beautiful gold shimmer.

I'm linking up with Kaiser Saturday challenge # 3.......off the page creations.

I'm slowly finding my way to your blogs....

Thank you so much for visiting me

Happy creating

Tracey

  4. Lol! Great idea Tracey! This is like me covering up a telephone jack on my kitchen wall with a popsicle stick basket that my Grandson son made! Love the look of the stenciled canvas!
