Not a card or scrapbook page

Hello Everyone,

Is your life as busy as mine? Not a  lot of creating happening here at the moment! I thought I'd stop by and show you a fun project that a created a few weeks ago.
You can just see the corner of a shelf that sits above my computer desk.....it displays a few pretty bits and pieces. But this electrical board ruined the whole look!

So........ I came up with this idea to cover it. The canvas sits right over the top.....no hooks, nails etc. It just balances on the electrical box, you would never know that ugly thing was underneath! The is canvas is 18 inches square.

I used a Kaiser stencil and gold paint to sponge the design onto the canvas. It looks yellow in the photos....but it really does have a beautiful gold shimmer.

I'm linking up with Kaiser Saturday challenge # 3.......off the page creations.

I'm slowly finding my way to your blogs....

Thank you so much for visiting me

Happy creating

Make Today Beautiful..

Hey Everyone,

I really like how Kaiser Saturday challenge now includes cards! I have quite a few small paper pads that need to be used up.

My first card is for August challenge #1
Create a Birthday card.
I've used  'Kaleidoscope' collection.

'Art Booking' cartridge was used to cut both the frames on each card from white glitter paper. ( You really can't see how glittery it is from  photo)

And

Here's August Challenge #2
Create a card with.....something Sparkly, an element that is Multidimensional, and
something Floral

I am also entering the sketch challenge at "Feeling Sketchy"

The papers are 'Telegragh Road' collection.

Cherish...

Just popping in, to share a layout I created  for Kaiser Saturday sketch challenge #4.

Today I decided to paint my craft space.......the first thing to do was fill all the holes in the walls. Its a little cool here today, the filler is taking forever to dry, so in between I started working on this layout....I didn't think I'd have the time for this last sketch but it came together quite quickly.

Love this pretty 'Secret Admirer' collection, combined with lots of Kaiser flowers.
I used my cricut to cut the two large daisies from Art Philosophy cartridge.

Moment to Remember

Hello ............Not a lot of time for creating this week, but  by yesterday afternoon I was determined to
 change that!
I seem to be scrapping pics of myself and my husband lately....... that's because I have some at last!
I'm usually the one taking all the photos - I often I say "Here take a photo of me, so everyone knows I was on holidays with you" . My daughter had a new camera....she took this photo of us.

The layout is based on Kaiser Saturday sketch #3

I used a mix of Kaiser papers, flowers and pocket page cards. I made the two larger flowers with my cricut using Kaiser papers - sprinkling them with diamond dust........I don't think you can see that from this photo.

Here is a sneak peak of my project for the new die cut challenge at 'Stuck on U Sketches' tomorrow. I love making my own flowers :)
Hope you can stop by .

Treasured Memories

Hello,

I've been trying really hard to use up paper in my stash! I'm trying to resist buying any new collections until I make a hole in what I've got........I tell you, its a real challenge not to be tempted by all the gorgeous papers out there.
When I was in Canada, 'Michaels' was having a "Hot buy" on papers stacks.........it didn't help that the store was walking distance from the Hotel we were staying in. Well, I resisted for 2 days, then after I worked out where all the weight could be distributed it was an easy decision! So yes, I had a spend up!

Anyway on to my layout......Using a mix of papers from old Kaiser Collections. I handmade the flowers using my cricut which I combined with kaiser bling and resin flowers.

I really liked the colour combo, from the inspiration photo ....... so I stuck with it!
I'm entering this layout in Kaiser Saturday Sketch #2

I'm back to show you a layout I did for Kaiser Sketch #4 challenge. Its just simple using some pretty papers from the Tea Party and Fine and Sunny collection.

These are some more photos taken on our recent holiday. We bought this big container of strawberries from a road side stall ......for $5......so cheap! And so SWEET! They didn't last long.........I think we managed to eat them all in a few hours!

Everyday Moments......

Hello.......Today I made the decision to "MAKE" time to do a layout! I have been scrapping lots of my holiday photos Pocket Page style but some photos just need to be featured on a page of their own.

The kids were so excited when it snowed on our trip to Canada last month.

The papers are Kaiser 'Take Note' collection. I have also follow Kaiser sketch challenge #2 for May

Living the Dream....

Hey everyone,
So nice of you to stop by!
I have so much Kaiser paper that I need to use up.........perfect excuse to take part in the Saturday Sketch challenge again !

My daughter and her partner have recently returned from a European Holiday.......they had the most amazing time! I copied this photo from her face book.....it was taken in Spain.
'Living the Dream' was the perfect title.......this is something she has always wanted to do.

I have not written on the journal card, I'm leaving it free for my daughter to fill in.

Love....Cherish.....Forever

Hey there everyone,
I'm really hoping that now the kids are back at school I can get back into some kind of a routine .......and get into my craft room more often.
Its only this morning I realized that Kaiser Saturday Sketch has started again for 2014.......I needed to get my project linked by midnight , so in record time I created this layout using Kaiser 'Needle and Thread' collection.
Just simple and a little shabby :)

This is a photo of my Parents ......I thought it matched the vintage feel of these papers perfectly!
