Sketchy Boards

Happy November to You!
New month....New Challenge with "Sketchy Boards"

Love the pretty colours in this photo.

I've made 2 projects using the inspiration board.

First up is a card ........using the sketch and colours from the photo. To create the background  on water colour paper, I used Gelatos and a doily embossing folder! A little washi tape, a few doilies cut from water colour paper (  backgrounds that did not look so good) I cut and stamped the tag from CTMH Artfully sent cartridge. I think the butterfly is from the same cartridge? 


And a Layout.......just using the sketch!
I'm still scrapping Holiday photos.....its all about the scenery, I would loose to much if I cut the photo in a circle!

    Wow! When I pinned these I didn't even realize they were your creations...lol...both are gorgeous! And thanks for your nice words on my blog.... I have to go look at that layout again...it's so beautiful...

    I love this! And I notice the little details with the sequins. I've been looking all over for new colors, lighter ones that the old standard ones. Any idea where I can find the pastels and bright colors?

      Hello....I love sequins too! Lincraft have a great range, not just your standard colours. Try spotlight. Maggie Holmes has pretty aqua colours.
      Paper Sweeties...http://papersweeties.com/?s=sequins have a huge variety, different shapes too. Hope this helps

    Wow your card is spectacular!! I LOVE the colors, inking and the design rocks!! The layout is fantastic! All the embellishments are awesome~love the rosettes! GREAT job on these Tracey!
