A few things

Hello,

 Every day life sometimes  takes over from any creative time!

But I needed to get crafting for a few birthdays.

Here are some things I have made  recently.

The first card is for a friend..she loves vintage and her favorite colour is blue. Looks like its missing something?I took the photo before I added the sentiment. I was in such a rush I think I forgot to add it when I gave it to her to? Oh well these things happen.

A tiny matchbox decorated with layers of the same paper, lace, muslin and a gorgeous doily.

Next 

This matchbox is for another friend who also loves vintage.The box is a little larger in size.

The sentiment is written on the tag below . I held everything together with pretty crinkle ribbon.

These tiny boxes are so much fun to make!

Love You a Latte

Happy weekend Everyone,

When I visit my friend Lola's house, it often smells of freshly brewed coffee......but its not what you think! 

Its coffee stained papers baking in the oven. She uses them in her fabulous Junk Journals. I was lucky enough to receive some.

I thought they would be perfect to use for January's Kraft plus challenge.

A CAFFEINE HIT

I layered up all the papers which included a doily and tissue paper on Kraft to create this card. I used 'Love You a Latte' cricut cartridge to cut the silhouette image. Typo use to sell tins of retro looking Polaroid cards....  perfect to complete the coffee shop scene.

CARD

Hello.....just a quick post to share a card.

I had fun making this with lots of my favorite bits and Pieces, for a friends Birthday.

It was only when I came to adding the photo here....I realized that I had forgotten to add the sentiment to the front. Do you ever mess up when you are in a hurry? Well I did! With the front complete all I had to do was finish the inside.........I stamped a verse inside, got ink on my hands which then smudged everywhere. Out came more pattern paper to cover up the mess, I then quickly put it in an envelope....thats how I forgot to finish the front. 

I made the large flower, added a doily .... the tiny resin rose in the center is an earing.

Yesterday I told you I was busy baking

Classic Choc Chip, Dark Choc with white chips and Double Choc chips.

Yummo

I think its time for a coffee!

Time to Scrap the Boys for a change!

Using this inspiration board from "Sketchy Boards" July Challenge

My Son is living in Canada....I often get "Snap chats" from him, but its so frustrating that the pictures or videos only last 10 seconds. Now, before I open a snapchat I get ready to screen shot the images on my iphone. So that is how I got these photos of him having fun spring skiing    boarding.

I cut the large star with my cricut....some stitching, paint splatters, enamel dots more stars.

 Super simple Cas style card using "Altenew Floral Draped Stencil"

I used chalk inks blended together to create the pretty colours, a stamp sentiment from Altenew Painted Rose and a sprinkle of sequins for a little sparkle!

"Romance" is the theme this month at "Auzz Trinklets N Craft"

For the background I inked up a favorite embossing folder....love the cross stitched hearts! I layed it on top of damp water colour paper. I die cut the hearts from water colour paper too ...which I coloured with Gelatos. Love the fabric button I found in my stash.

Its Your Day

Hello Everyone,

Today I would like to show you a card and gift bag I made for a friends birthday....using products from "Auzz Trinklet N  Kraft"

" Make it Girly" is this months theme.

I really enjoy making my own Paper flowers.......Neha stocks an amazing variety of stamens....all colours and sizes. I have mixed two different ones together. A tiny pale pink and a crystal cluster. The tiny white flowers are also from her store.

Lets start with a close up of all the layers.

I die cut the flowers using Mothers Day Bouquet cricut cartridge

 'Altenew Brush Art Floral"  was used to stamp the design onto the gift bag I made from  printer paper!

Its another HOT day .......and tomorrow is going to be worse " Its a HEAT WAVE!
With no AC , just a fan to keep me cool in front of the Computer....I have not been spending much time here. The pool is the best place!  Sorry for not visiting, I'll play catch up soon!

Time to Celebrate

Its a New Month...time to show you the New

Challenge at "Sketchy Boards". What a great sketch and how pretty are the colours in this inspiration photo!

I decided to make a card combining the colors and sketch.

The scallop circles in the center were cut with Art Philosophy cricut cartridge then stamped with the coordinating stamp set. I die cut the flower using lots of layers of pink tissue paper.....I punched stamens then added a tiny pom pom to the center. I still have quite the supply of doilies, so I had to add them too. Love the chevron flair!

DAM!....we will miss You

Hey Everyone,
I hate airport Goodbyes :(  Right now my son is on a 14 hour flight to Canada for a working Holiday in the ski fields. Not sure how long he will be gone for? I think, the thought of this is a little easier to cope with knowing we have relatives in Canada. ( Thats what I'm telling myself anyway) A cousin is only 3 hours drive away and his grandparents , Auntie and Uncles are a 5 hour flight.....a lot closer than us!!   OMG....now I now how my parents felt when I did the same thing!               Anyway.....
I made him a fun "Bonvoyage" card.

To start....... I ripped a page of America and Canada from an Atlas for the background, then I decorated it with images from " Go Canada" cricut cartridge. The plane is from 'Paper pups', a little stamping and stitching to finish it off!

I've use pretty papers from Kaiser collection 'Boho Dreams'

 Time to dust off a few neglected cricut cartridges!

The Die cut type writer is from CTMH Artistry cartridge.....I layered a tag from the paper collection over the die cut.

Hi Everyone....

How cute is this inspiration board for the new challenge at 

"Paper Sweeties"

I'm a Guest Designer for this challenge....I had lots of fun playing with the colours and cute stamps from 'Paper Sweeties'.

I have used Paper Sweeties...Sweet cut Mason Jar and the coordinating stamp collection.  My friend Anna is still crocheting me the gorgeous tiny doilies, I have quite the collection........that is why you see them on most of my creations, no chance of me running out any time soon !  Love the cute Heart and star buttons too!

I was inspired by the pretty colours and the bow ties. I layered 'Stitched Tag #1' Sweet cuts, with Bows and Flowers from 'Hello Spring' Sweet cuts. I also used 'Hello Spring' stamps to emboss around the bows and flowers. Hello Friend Sentiment is from Hello Friend' stamp set
