Its Your Day

Hello Everyone,
Today I would like to show you a card and gift bag I made for a friends birthday....using products from "Auzz Trinklet N  Kraft"
" Make it Girly" is this months theme.
I really enjoy making my own Paper flowers.......Neha stocks an amazing variety of stamens....all colours and sizes. I have mixed two different ones together. A tiny pale pink and a crystal cluster. The tiny white flowers are also from her store.
Lets start with a close up of all the layers.

I die cut the flowers using Mothers Day Bouquet cricut cartridge
'Altenew Brush Art Floral"  was used to stamp the design onto the gift bag I made from  printer paper!

Go HERE for instructions on how DIY gift bag.

Its another HOT day .......and tomorrow is going to be worse " Its a HEAT WAVE!
With no AC , just a fan to keep me cool in front of the Computer....I have not been spending much time here. The pool is the best place!  Sorry for not visiting, I'll play catch up soon!

Enjoy your week

Love that Smile

Hey, Hope you are having a great week!
Today I'd like to share a layout I created for
The theme for November is Strips and Stripes.

Be sure to check out the great selection of 'stamens' from the store. Here is a photo of just a few I have :)

I've used a Navy stamen in the center.
The flowers were die cut with Mothers day Bouquet cricut cartridge....I tried to create flowers similar to the ones in the background pattern paper. The leaves were also cut with the same cartridge, dipped in glue then covered in chunky glitter.

My two Girls..........Love that Smile

For the Strips and Stripes ...... I've added 3 strips of paper under the photo, love the fringed bottom.

The next few days around here are really busy....Thank you so much for the comments you leave, I will be visiting you soon.

Love Birds

Hello, so nice of you to visit!

As soon as I saw the May inspiration photo at "Scrapping Outback"
I knew the colours would be perfect for a layout using a wedding photo of my daughter and her husband.  Rasberry and Dusty Pink are just a few of the colours I used when I made the flowers for the tables.

Deep Raspberry, Dusty Pink, Mint green and a touch of Orange and Brown.

My Page

The 'Love Birds' chip board is from 'Scrapping Outback'. I inked it with white and then added a little pink.....I wanted it to blend with the background.  I Fussy cut  flowers and added some that were handmade using my cricut and 'Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge' Love the sparkly stamens.

Its so nice having a little more time to create.

Enjoy the rest of the week Everyone

True Love

Hello..........After a busy week I've really enjoyed having some time to play in my new craft space. I find myself standing in the middle of the room looking around wondering where I have put stuff.....its so organised!

KC april 16

I have rotated it to suit my photo.
One thing I like about Kaiser papers is its very easy to combine collections.....which I have done here.
This photo was taken the day before my daughters wedding, at the rehearsal... I could not resist having a photo taken with my husband on the double swing.
The two large blue flowers where made by me using 'Mothers Day Bouquet' cricut cartridge.

Happy Weekend Everyone

Memories

I'm a few days late posting my layout for February " Sketchy Board" challenge!
This past week has been soooooo Hot and Humid....temperatures above what they usually are for this time of year! So, with no air conditioning, I've been spending most of my time in the pool, not a lot of time in front of the computer. I hope to pop by and visit you soon!

Look at this fabulous Sketch and Colour palette for February.

Here is my take on it.......I kinda followed the sketch, love the colours!

A few close ups of the flowers and background work. The flowers are Hand made using Cricut Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge....and as you know I love these tiny crochet doilies. Not to forget a light sprinkling of flower shape sequins.
These photo bring back great memories......"Capitola" is such a pretty place to visit!

I look forward to seeing how this inspiration board inspires you :)

A little scrapping

Hello......hope you are all enjoying a great week....I've taken some time out from Flower production to enter a few challenges before the end of the month.

My first layout is for "Scrapping Outback"
 "White with a Twist
The challenge is to use all the colours as seen in this inspiration photo...
White, Grey, Silver and a touch of Black and one piece of Chip board.

I did find these colours a real challenge! I nearly gave up at one stage....... the first one ended up in the bin, so here is "Take 2"

Love this photo of my daughter ...........standing on Grandma's balcony throwing snow in the air. We did not expect  to see snow when we visited Canada in April!
I've used Lots of die cut snowflakes, crochet doilys, buttons, bling, pearls, sequins and 'FUN' is chip board.

For my second layout I'm playing along with this sketch challenge at "Kaiser"

KC JAN challenge

Here I am enjoying the "Picture Perfect" view at Yosemite National Park.

The pattern papers are a mixture of a few different Kaiser collections. I've used cricut cartridge 'Mothers Day bouquet' to make the flowers adding a resin flower to the center.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by......now its time to get back to the production line of flowers.

Hey There.......so nice of you to stop by!
Not a lot of creating happening here at the moment!
I've really been loving the Spring weather, enjoying time in the garden.
But....
Today, I made some time to create a layout.
I have so many Kaiser papers.......I have set a goal for myself to enter their challenge each month, to use them up. Problem is the new collections are so pretty, I find it hard not to buy more!

KC October challenge

I have combined it with the challenge at White with 1
'Peach Puff'
peach puff

Pink Gelato is the Kaiser collection I have used....... handmade flowers cut with 'mothers day bouquet' cricut cartridge, fussy cut flowers and few pretty doilies.
Just realized, I messed up the sentiment sentence......I stuck the second verse in the wrong order :( I'm off to fix it now!

Hope you are enjoying a creative week

Friends

I really liked the August sketch at The Scrapbook store
I think the colours used to created the sketch influenced me into choosing vintage style papers.

Here we are enjoying morning tea at Lola's house for Melbourne cup day.....notice we are all wearing hats :)

Here is a close up of fussy cut flowers and some that I made using  Mothers Day Bouquet cricut cartridge. I always try to add a pretty crochet flower .......at the moment sequins seem to go on everything too. Don't you just love the extra sparkle they add!

Hope you are enjoying a great week

My favorite Place

Hey Everyone,
I took time out from trying to work out Windows 10, to create this layout for Kaiser's August challenge....which is a sketch.
One of my favorite places we visited on our trip last year was 'Yosemite National Park'
This photo was  taken at Tunnel View
{Just realized the spelling for Yosemite is wrong on my layout}

A few papers from a new collection, combined with lots of older papers which I have used to make the flowers and leaves.......pocket cards too.
'Mothers day Bouquet' cricut cartridge was used to cut the flowers and leaves.
Here is the sketch.......I turned it once clockwise
KAISERCRAFT AUGUST 15 SKETCH

Back to my computer issues.........I have been told if you are using windows 8, the transition to 10 is easy. I was using 7.
So for everyone who is thinking of up grading to windows 10.....you can try it out like me......I really did not have the time patience to try to figure it out. Sooooooo, I asked Google... can I can back to 7?To my surprise you can!
So, I followed the instuctions...I'm now back on 7.
Just want the basics, for now I'm Happy, I had no problem finding the photos for this post! LOL

Happy Creating ....Enjoy the weekend

Kaisercraft Monthly challenge

Hey Everyone,
I was so Happy to see that Kaisercraft is posting monthly challenges again!
I'm not buying anymore papers until I  use up some in my stash!
Here is my layout with an old collection........Lilac Avenue
A few things in the Mood board inspired me........The pretty colors, the dandelion and the tall trees. This photo was taken last year in "Yosemite National Park" Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. You can  just see the trunk of one of the trees behind us. This page will sit along side a pocket style page in my album......Thats where I am journalling more details about our trip .

The only items not Kaiser are.... purple crochet doilies, sequins and heart paper clip. I've use cricut cartridge Mothers day bouquet to cut the flowers, then layered them with a pretty doily and kaiser brad.
Thanks for a fun challenge

Wonderful Moments....

Hey Everyone...happy Monday to You!

Today I would like to share the layout I created for the latest Die cut challenge at 'Stuck on U Sketches'.
Key to my Heart
We would like to see Hearts, Locks and /or Keys

I really liked the Heart overlay HERE, but I do not have the program to be able to cut it.........so I created my own in 'Cricut Craft Room' using George cartridge welding all the hearts together. I then sprayed it with Heidi Swapp colour shine......it has a beautiful shimmer. Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge was used to make the flowers. They are the same as the ones I created a few posts back. HERE. On the solid white hearts I stamped the definition of LOVE in a pale pink.....its a little hard to read.

The renovation of my living area has been keeping me busy.....its nearly done!
I'll be visiting you soon

Have a great week

Remember this moment

Helloooo.....I put down my paint brush this afternoon to do this sketch from "Stuck
The layout came together quite fast.......the longest part was trying to find the photo on my not very organised computer. Another New years resolution to add to the list....organise  photos better!!
I love this photo of my daughter and her fiance :)
The flowers were made using cricut 'Mothers Day Bouquet'. I still have quite the stash of tiny doilies....I  love adding them to the centre of flowers. When my friend Anna makes the doilies, she always leaves a long thread ....which I  think looks kinda cool left hanging.

So nice of you to stop by.......enjoy your week

Live ........your Dreams.

Hello..........and welcome !
I'm back to show you my layout for the last "Stuck on U Die cuts" challenge for May. This year has flown........can you believe its June tomorrow?
We would like to see your Die cuts of 'Birds' etc.

Love these photos of my 2 gorgeous girls!

My Bird was cut using 'Art Philosophy cartridge', then embossed, and inked. It looked a bit dull so I added a touch of Bling to the wings. The flowers were cut using 'Mothers Day Bouquet' cartridge. The little bird house is from ' April Showers' cartridge.

This is the sketch I followed from page maps. I created the mirror image of it, to work in with the design on the pattern papers. I'm linking up for there 7 Year Anniversary celebrations.

Hope to see you join us for the challenge.......We have a brand new look at Sous, stop by and check it out!

Have a wonderful weekend, another busy one for me,

The Shabby Tea Room # 168

Hello.......Its Monday, time to show you the new challenge at The Shabby Tea Room!
This week I am the host ..........."Shabby Sunshine" is the theme. I  love the simplicity of this pretty photo.
I would like you to create a card/project using the colours Aqua , Yellow , Flowers and add twine.

Sometimes its fun just trying to recreate a part of the photo........

'Love You a Latte' is the cricut cartridge I have used to cut the jug shape. With my Gypsy I joined the jug shapes together at the handle to make the card shape. The flowers are from 'Mothers Day Bouquet'.
I created the stripes using Washi Tape.........love that stuff!

Bugaboo digi stamps is the sponsor for this challenge - The little tag is called 'Dandelions and Butterflies.
'I'm Grateful For You' stamp is from Paper Sweeties

Be sure to stop by the other shabby girls.......they have gorgeous creations to show you.
