Wonderful Moments....

Hey Everyone...happy Monday to You!

Today I would like to share the layout I created for the latest Die cut challenge at 'Stuck on U Sketches'.
Key to my Heart
We would like to see Hearts, Locks and /or Keys

I really liked the Heart overlay HERE, but I do not have the program to be able to cut it.........so I created my own in 'Cricut Craft Room' using George cartridge welding all the hearts together. I then sprayed it with Heidi Swapp colour shine......it has a beautiful shimmer. Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge was used to make the flowers. They are the same as the ones I created a few posts back. HERE. On the solid white hearts I stamped the definition of LOVE in a pale pink.....its a little hard to read.

The renovation of my living area has been keeping me busy.....its nearly done!
I'll be visiting you soon

Have a great week

Hearts......

Hey there,

Its time to show you the new Die cut challenge at Stuck on U Sketches.
"Create a Banner"
I've created a simple Banner using lots of Hearts from scrap paper.......embellishing them with flowers, buttons and some liquid pearls.

The large doily heart was cut using Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art ....the smaller ones were cut with George. I used my sewing machine to join them all together.

This looks really pretty hanging across my kitchen dresser.

Yay.......its Friday, have a great weekend

It sure is the "Happiest place in the world".........These photo's were taken in 2011, when I travelled to the USA with a friend. In 2012  I travelled with my husband and children to Canada , to celebrate Christmas with my husbands family..... I could not wait to go via LA  and visit Disney again with the kids!
Hope to scrap those photos soon.

Here I am with some of my favourite characters!!

I used George for the Stars , Mickey and Friends for Mickey, Pluto, Goofy and Mrs Incredible, the words are from Mickey Font

Can't wait to see what you create!

Spring is in the Air.............

Its Autumn here.......but on the other side of the world its Spring.
This is the theme for the latest Die cut challenge at
"Stuck on You Sketches"

The pattern paper is 'Lil Primrose' by Kaiser......I love the soft colours. All the shapes hanging were cut with George using the charm feature. I used Flower shoppe for the flowers , Spring - Gypsy Wanderings and the scallop border at the top of the page I used Art philosophy. The doilies are Cheery Lyn - English Tea.

And..........the close ups.
I tried to make my  flowers  similar to the ones in the pattern paper:)

Heart creations.........

I've been busy making a few thing with my favourite shape...........
Hearts
It is so much fun making these huge tags.........I've cut this with 'George and Basic Shapes at 11 1/2 in.
I don't have any of the feature cartridges for this weeks "Strut your Cuts" challenge so its back to basics:)

The tag, hearts and sentiment frame are all cut from cereal boxes. I usually cut the shape twice , stick the two pieces together for added dimension, a little paint and glitter .........just looks like chip board!

A simple XOX Card

The XO's were left over from this project. A sneak peak...................Scrappy-Go-Lucky will show you these some time during the week.

And this one........all created with George and Plantin school Book.

The featured cartridges for this weeks 'Strut your Cuts' challenge are...........

Birthday Sundaes #14

The weeks are just flying by......I can't believe it is Sunday already!

I'm back  with another "Birthday Sundaes" challenge. This week the challenge is to make a SHAPE card.......no rectangles or squares allowed!
I love Cup Cakes............so I decided to have my cupcake sitting on a plate with a pretty doily.
Here's my easel card!

I used my Gypsy to  create the card! I welded a circle from "George" and a cup cake from "From My Kitchen".  I decorated it with some pretty papers , little pompoms and some gorgeous crinkle ribbon. The paper on the base of the cupcake I ran through a paper crimper.

This week the challenge is sponsered by one of my design team members,
She has donated this cricut cartridge "Just Because Cards" for the prize this week.
If you get the chance please head over and check out Michelle's blog......she makes the prettiest cards!

The rest of the Design Team have made some really cool shape cards , head over to "Birthday Sundaes" to get some great ideas.

Enjoy your weekend
Thankyou so much for stopping by and checking out what I've been creating.

With Love..............

Hey I'm back for a quick post today..........

This is our photo inspiration at the  Shabby Tea Room this week.......... Create a card or project based on the inspiration photo and use PASTELS and STRIPES.

These colors look so pretty together!
I cut the heart doily out with my new dies........George cricut cartridge was used to make the flower, and if you are looking for the stripes, they are at the bottom, a Martha Stewart punch was used to cut the border.

The paper I have used is Papermania "Rose Garden"

Birthday Sundaes................

Hello, and welcome to another "Birthday Sundaes"

No Birthday cards this week!
Our challenge was create something for a Birthday party.......
Birthday gift , banner, cupcake wrappers/toppers , treat boxes etc.
On Tuesday its Tori's Birthday so I decided to make this Mini Cake Banner to put on her cake.
To give you an idea of what it will look like, for the photo I put it on this giant paper cupcake! Its from Kaiser - Candy Lane collection.

My cake won't look as pretty as this one!
The banner is tied to skewers  so it can stand in the cake.

I have a card to match but since there is a very good chance she will peak at my blog, I will show you that next week.

"Martha Stewart All Ocasional Cake" was used for the banner and scallop circle. The flower was cut with "Mothers Day Bouquet" and the little cupcake in the centre is a rub on.
Its your Day is from "George".

Hope you are enjoying your Easter holidays

Thankyou so much for stopping by.......

Sparkle.......

I love this photo of Tori!
This is a layout I did recently for Scrappy-Go-Lucky showing some  flower cuts from the "April Showers" cartridge. I kept the layout very simple, so the main focus was the beautiful picture.

Have a great week everyone and thanks 4 stopping by.

2 Cards...........

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Just a quick post to show you a couple cards I made today.................
I love this new paper collection from Kaiser its called "Nans Favourites" The flower I cut from "Accents Essential" and how cute is that little tea pot button!

I used Kaiser again on this card "Lush collection". The frame was cut using "George", the bird and heart - "Gypsy Wanderings", and the flourish - "Sweet Hearts".

I'm trying to get a collection of cards together for when I need them............at the moment I'm making them when an occasion arises......... I don't always have the time so this should help.

Tomorrow is my good friend Shelley's birthday I thought I'd take her out for coffee or in her case Tea but instead she requested "Second hand shopping". I'm really looking forward to it, I hope we find some bargains like I did last week!

Just a quick reminder........I'm giving away some stamp sets to celebrate reaching over 100 followers, please leave a comment under the post "Blog Candy 101" for your chance to win!

See You again Soon

Heart X O...............

LIFE sometimes just gets so busy its hard to find the time to do the things you enjoy!............. All week I've been trying to get back in my craft room. I also have been slightly side tracked, which happens quite often! Anyway I love doily's..........I've have always wanted to learn how to crochet to make my own. So, on Friday Tereesa came over ........we enjoyed wine and cheese and I got my first ever crochet lesson. I must say she is a great teacher and has a lot of patience!  I have been practising ever since.........At  one stage I did consider giving up, thinking I have containers full of vintage doily's that I've collected I'll just cut them up, that would be so much easier. LOL

Anyway that's what I've been up to......................Here is a layout  that I did last night, when I put my crochet hook down...ha ha ha. This picture was taken just before Christmas of Paul and my self,........ we don't have many photo's of us together and I thought this one was quite a nice ........so why not scrap it for Valentines Day!

Challenges I'm entering........

"Fantabulous Cricut" is having a "Share the Love " challenge - put the word love on your creation.......its stamped down the bottom using my favourite Stampin up set "Love Defined" The little tree is from that too.

Paper Playtime - Cupid or Heart

Cooking with Cricut - Hearts and Flowers

Cartridges I've used........
Fence - Heritage...I used Design Studio to place hearts on the fence as cut outs.
Heart XO and Flower - Sweet hearts ( I love the petals of this flower which are heart shape)
Chandalier - Wall Decor and More

Paper, pearls and bling all Kaiser

Thankyou so much 4 visiting and thankyou to everyone that takes the time to comment, I really appreciate it!

See you Soon

For a good cause...........

My local Kaiser Outlet store is running a workshop on Saturday the 5th of February........you can create anything you want - Layout, Off the page item, basically anything you can put photos in or on. All the projects created on that day will be donated to people who lost everything in the Floods. I can't do the workshop on that day so I have made a layout ahead of time and I'll be dropping it into the store next week.

Usually when I do a layout I know what photos I'm going to use.........so to do it this way was a bit of a challenge for me.  As you can see it fits 4 photos. I 've left the overlap of paper free of tape so a photo can be slotted in quite easy.

I embossed the chip board letters...............When I heated the powder up it melted but did not go smooth how it normally would ( I don't know why) it stayed a rough texture which I thought kinda looked like snow? I liked the way it turned out.

Here's the cartridges I've used -

Martha Stewart elegant cake - large doily and leaf border
Joys to the Season - Branch of leaves
George - large circle and rectangles for photos
Paper - Kaiser winter wonderland
