I'd like to show you what I've made for the new "Die cut" Challenge at "Stuck on U Sketches"

My Christmas Card 

I've used Cricut - A 'Quilted Christmas' for the card base,
Plantin School Book' for the numbers and 'Art Philosophy' for the scallop shape under the numbers......I also used the coordinating stamp for the design.

I've been so busy with family and decorating the house for Christmas.......I still have 'Things to do, Places to go, People to see :)  Hope to be back soon?

I'm really enjoying the sketches from PageMaps ..........

This is a favourite photo of my two oldest children, its hard to believe they are now 22 and 19.....how time flies!

The challenge was to use the sketch below and feature borders in some way.

I used a punch for some of the borders, washi tape, and lace. The large zig zag strip was cut using my cricut and Plantin School Book cartridge. I had fun using up lots of scrap paper!

Buttons, flowers , lace, stamping and some fun paint splatters.

I really must attempt some house work (boring)...........Thanks so much for visiting!

This is my daughter celebrating her 7th Birthday! I kept it simple.........some pretty felt hearts , flowers and a Glittery Title.

I used Plantin School Book cricut cartridge to cut the title and Mini Monograms to cut the scallop circle for the banner. The felt flowers are also die cut

Stuck on U die cuts

This week at Stuck on U Die cuts the challenge is to "Replace a letter in Your Title with a die cut shape and use scraps on your project."
Everything on my layout is from scraps except the background papers!!

I took this photo of Jordyn last year when we were on holidays.......it would have to be one of my favourites!

I cut the snow flakes and title from a cereal box. Joys of the Season was used for the snowflakes and Plantin School Book for Snow. I created the snow flake background using 'Art Philosophy .....love the white on white.  My go to cartridge for banners is...'Martha Stewart All Occasional Cake Art'. The pattern paper under the photo is all scraps. Don't you just love the cross stitched look of the hearts. This is a papermania stamp.

Last week I knocked my foot on a rock at the beach , after limping around all week I finally went and had an Xray. I have a fractured toe.......no wonder it hurt so much! Great excuse not to clean and just craft!

Heart creations.........

I've been busy making a few thing with my favourite shape...........

Hearts

It is so much fun making these huge tags.........I've cut this with 'George and Basic Shapes at 11 1/2 in.

I don't have any of the feature cartridges for this weeks "Strut your Cuts" challenge so its back to basics:)

The tag, hearts and sentiment frame are all cut from cereal boxes. I usually cut the shape twice , stick the two pieces together for added dimension, a little paint and glitter .........just looks like chip board!

A simple XOX Card

 The XO's were left over from this project. A sneak peak...................Scrappy-Go-Lucky will show you these some time during the week.

Girls Rock !!!

Have I told you how much I love the "Rock Princess" cartridge!..........Here's a quick card I made just using one of the Phrases "GIRLS ROCK".

 I used glossy accents with lots of pink glitter sprinkled on the little pink bow. The scallop border under the buttons was cut using "Plantin School Book"
