Welcome to Day 2 Visions of Sugar Plums
Today I have an Ornament shape card.
Art Philosophy cricut cartridge was used to cut the card shape.
I covered the snowflake overlay in white glitter........an easy way to add glitter is to cover your paper in 'Jac paper' first...then cut. Once cut pull back the protective layer.......you have a sticker.....cover in lots of glitter. This creates a really even surface of Sparkle :)
Love these pretty colours for Christmas!

This ornament is so pretty. I'm sure it will be one of the first ones people go to while looking at the tree.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely ornament and so sparkley, and your touch of crochet and red...elegant. I was going to do all homemade ornaments this year for my tree but never got started. But going through this blog and other challenges there is a lot of inspiration. I need to change my tree from snowmen to something different, had snowmen for about 15 years.

The colors are pretty together. The angel is absolutely adorable. I also like all the different elements you added to the card. I am curious as to what size the ornament is.

That is brilliant and I never thought of such a thing. I wonder if there is an equivalent of some sort for Jac paper at Walmart that I could find. If not, I'm ordering some! The concept of glitter actually going on the paper and NOT me....LOVE it! Your choice of colors for this is spot on awesome as well!!
