A little scrapping

Hello......hope you are all enjoying a great week....I've taken some time out from Flower production to enter a few challenges before the end of the month.

My first layout is for "Scrapping Outback"
 "White with a Twist
The challenge is to use all the colours as seen in this inspiration photo...
White, Grey, Silver and a touch of Black and one piece of Chip board.

I did find these colours a real challenge! I nearly gave up at one stage....... the first one ended up in the bin, so here is "Take 2"

Love this photo of my daughter ...........standing on Grandma's balcony throwing snow in the air. We did not expect  to see snow when we visited Canada in April!
I've used Lots of die cut snowflakes, crochet doilys, buttons, bling, pearls, sequins and 'FUN' is chip board.

For my second layout I'm playing along with this sketch challenge at "Kaiser"

KC JAN challenge

Here I am enjoying the "Picture Perfect" view at Yosemite National Park.

The pattern papers are a mixture of a few different Kaiser collections. I've used cricut cartridge 'Mothers Day bouquet' to make the flowers adding a resin flower to the center.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by......now its time to get back to the production line of flowers.

Happy Crafting
Tracey x

  2. Tracey, glad you took a little time out for yourself to create! It's good for the soul. You layouts are truly beautiful. I bet it was a struggle using those colours. In the end it is beautiful! Love the serenity of your second layout. It's all the green- it does that to me. Hope your week is going well.

The white with a twist is amazing, I am sorry to hear you struggled with the colours - they are hard to work with, I was the same, but what you ended up with is perfect. Thank you so much for persevering, it was so worth it!!!

  13. Seriously something about logging into your site, it takes forever...but I just walk away and come back to the computer because I don't want to miss your art. It must be because all the embellishments you have in your creations lol. Your pages are beautiful as always, and how you create from an inspirational picture is fantastic, and I'll bet your Take 1 was beautiful too. You were in Canada and Yosemite National Park...next time you visit for sure I'm sure Lisa would love to meet up with you in California and I might tag along.

  14. OMG Tracey I'd heard from Lolz that you are a beautiful scrapper and I've seen some of your creativeness elsewhere - BUT this really is STUNNING. BOTH are stunning and the colours with the Scrapping Outback LO are perfect, so the perserverence is definitely worth it. I often also have 'take2' LO's. Thanks SO (pun intended) much for making the time and effort to try this SO challenge. http://scrapping-outback.blogspot.com.au/2016/01/january-2016-white-with-twist-challenge.html
