Christmas card

I'm So Happy to have completed another Christmas card using this Sketch from "Atlantic Hearts "
Just Wondering......Do you ever find the mood you are in, influences the colours you use when  creating a card or scrapbook page?  Just realized I do!
I had lots of bright pattern papers picked out but, I couldn't get them to work because of how I was feeling!

So, I went with white on white with a touch of gold to frame the pretty snowy scene. The background panels are embossed, a few punched out snowflakes .....and not forgetting a pretty crochet doily,I also added a tiny deer rubon to the scene.
Happy creating

  3. Love your embossed background with the added sparkle of snowflakes...even in your sad mood your card came out stunning. Thanks for joining us at AHSC, and if your mood doesn't present a color, you can join at and combine the sketch challenge with our ColorMyHeart Color Dare challenge...I'd love you to share your inspirations and beautiful cards at that challenge as well.

  4. What beautiful details in this stunning card! Embossing and dimension with the snowflakes, but the touch of gold in the ribbon just makes it!! Really lovely work. My oldest has lived in Japan for 7 years now, and sometimes I just miss him so much! Yet with Skype I find we talk more often than I do with my two other nearby sons. Thank you so much for linking to the AHSC this week!

  6. Yes I think I would agree with you on colors, especially for cards.. layouts are a bit bigger so I can create with more for them... but cards.. yes I do believe I am a mood scrapper... this is beautiful.. crisp, white and festive.. The chances of me having a white Christmas are fairly slim, but I can dream cant I!!? Have a great week ahead...
