A little Vintage....

When I saw this old picture of Santa I knew I had to put it on a card.  The wreath is cut from "Joys of the Season". I cut it twice raising the second layer with foam dots. Notice the little heart charm hanging........my daughter was throwing out some old jewellery, so I quickly had a look. I have this huge jar of junk jewellery............I often go through it looking for little things to add to projects I'm creating! The fabric covered button I found on one of my Op shop trips.

    Tracey, I just love the look of your card! and all the elements are just fabulous! And your picture taking skills?!! I have to learn to do that!! I just love the combination of the button with the perfectly matching bow, and the heart with the string just add that...(brain death! can't think of that word!) extra!

    This is super! I love the way the wreath frames the image. And that heart charm is a fantastic addition to the card as well! I'm glad you were able to selvage it!

    Oh this is so utterly Beautiful! I just Love Vintage and the extras on it are just perfect! Love the little heart from your daughter's "throw away" stuff. I love to go to yard sales and auctions and get the old jewelry to use on my projects. Also vintage goodies. Sometimes it's the perfect "finishing" touch on your project.     I got the card in the mail today and I could not believe it. It is so cute and I love it. It will have a special place on my display shelf in my craft room. Thanks for being such a great friend. I treasure that we are e-mail and blog friends.
    Working on taking my decorations down for Christmas. I don't get in a hurry. I do a little for New Years..................
