Thank you card

Hey There,
A quick post today....
to share a card I made for a friend, to thank her for her kindness :)

Just simple with some pretty papers and flowers. I dyed the crinkle ribbon to coordinate.

It is too hot to be sitting in front of a computer, its time to cool off in the pool!
Wishing you all a Happy 2015

JOY.....

I hope you all enjoyed a Very Merry Christmas!

I had lots of fun getting back into my craft room yesterday and creating this layout with some photos taken on Christmas day, of  myself and our new Border Collie Pup.......he is just the cutest little guy!
I played around with some texture paste and gold colour shine. I tucked an envelope I received at Christmas behind the photos......the snow flakes worked in with the inspiration board. But as you can see by the way I was dressed, it was really hot and humid........a normal Aussie Christmas! I made the Yo Yo and flowers......buttons, doilies......a few of my favorite things. JOY was die cut using cricut Create a Critter.

I followed along with two challenges.........."Stuck", using this sketch.
and
"Scrap Around the World"....using this inspiration board.
This would have to be one of my favorite  colour palettes! I also love crochet doilies.

Now its time to play catch up, visiting You!

Happy Holidays

"Shabby Chic Holiday

My Gift Card Box
The oval frame was an awful yellow  colour.......I painted it in gesso , them covered it in lots of glitter.
You can write your sentiment on the inside cover. It is an easy project to make for a special gift !

There are two sponsors for this challenge - Creations by AR.........I've used, 'Gift card Box'
and
Digital paper by Janet.....I've used ,Sweet colour paper 2 and Christmas circles

I have a huge "To Do" list.......are you organised for Christmas? Maybe next year I will be !!

Merry Christmas

All is Merry and Bright..........Just Chillin!

Hello.........Happy Holiday Season to you!

In 2011 we visited family in Canada and enjoyed a white Christmas. I have two layouts to show you today with photos that were taken on our holiday. The kids saw snow for the first time. ......this first one I followed along with "White with 1" colour challenge.
ww1 paloma
These photo's were taken on boxing day 2011........my youngest son having fun learning to ski.
A close up of the overlay and the tittle  'Just Chillin' which I cut using cricut 'Art Booking' cartridge.
The whole page  glitters.......its a little hard to pick that up in the photo's.
The snow flakes that were cut out from the overlay, I layered them up, adding some diamond dust and a button.

...................................................................

I followed this sketch from "Stuck Sketches" for my next layout
My husband I enjoying a walk in the snow.....Christmas day 2011
I made the little heart shape yo yo and the gold glitter flower.......I just love the tiny crochet doily, which my friend Anna makes for me ( I wish I could crochet!)
In the heat and humidity that we are experiencing at the moment.........
' I'm dreaming of a White Christmas'

Merry Christmas

Decorating

Hey Everyone,

This is what has been keeping me busy over the past few weeks:)

My Cricut had a huge workout creating all these decorations for my daughters engagement party.

Love these flowers.......Lia Griffith has a great tutorial and free cut file HERE

I glittered up some small milk bottles.

I used Cricut - Type Candy Font and the Cricut craft room to create 'Sangria'

Heavy Black card was used for my black board look sign.

A close up of the Banners. Its a bit hard to see in the photo ...I added sparkle to the pegs with Gold washi tape .
I used Cricut - Art Philosophy for the Hearts and Banner

The tissue paper tassels looked so pretty blowing in the breeze.

The Sangria Bar was a huge success - everyone loved it!

Happy Creating
