Its a PINK rainbow

KRAFT PLUS one other colour

A Rainbow of colours.......Which one will I choose?

Then I had this idea.......A PINK rainbow🌈

I used my cricut and 'Create a Critter' cartridge to cut the giant rainbow. Each layer was cut in a different pink pattern paper. I stitched all the layers together then added lots of pretty pink things.

Thanks for a great challenge "Kraft Plus".....this was a fun page to create.

Happy Crafting Everyone, Enjoy your week!

Christmas Creating

Hello..........Six days till Christmas! Are You Organised? For once I think I am, which is a good feeling :)

Today I have a few more Christmas creations to share with you.
Last week I showed you this ornament, made from a jar lid.

Here are two more

 Love the snowy scenes!
And Below are DIY Gift bags created using stamps from "Auzz Trinklets n Kraft"
"Gabi's stitched circle and square stamp set"
The bags were made from everyday printing paper. I determined the size of the bag, then joined the seam together with washi tape. I used a variety of stamps to created the gingham, circle and word collage tags. The red tags with hearts were die cut. I made the bow using We R memory keepers envelope punch.

I had lots of packaging and bags after doing my christmas shopping last week....before  throwing anything out, I think about what I can
re-purpose. These handles were cut from another bag

I hope this gives you a few ideas.......don't buy gift bags, have fun with your stamps and DIY
I'm linking these  up with "Paper Sweeties" challenge.

A few of You might know that my son will not be with us for Christmas this year.....he is working in the Canadian snow fields, enjoying a 'WHITE Christmas'!

This is the card I made for Him.....Santa enjoying
" SUN SAND & SURF "

Google helped me find this Fun image.....I printed it off, and Ta Da, an Aussie Christmas card. I die cut the deer using 'Create a Critter' cartridge!

I want to thank you all so much for visiting me , I appreciate your kind words!
Wishing You a VERY
MERRY CHRISTMAS
enjoy the time with your families........see you in 2017

Halloween Greetings

Happy Monday !
Its time to show you this weeks challenge in The Shabby Tea Room.
Colors and Patterns is the theme, along with this fun inspiration photo.

I've mixed quite a few different patterns on my card. The spider web overlay and spider were cut using Artfully sent cricut cartridge. I hope you can see all the glitter....it really sparkles.

The vintage image is from "My Artistic Adventures".....they are the sponsoring this challenge. Be sure to check them out....they have some really cute collage sheets.

.....................................................................................................
And
A friend of mine had a baby last week.
Thought I would also share a super simple card I made to match the cute tiger on the overalls. I used 'Create a Critter cricut cartridge for the tiger, Peachy Keen critter stamps for the face and my favorite heart embossing folder for the background.

Have a great week Everyone

Safari

Hello..........I had fun creating with my cricut today :)
In San Francisco we saw the city sites on an "Urban Safari" tour. The open air bus was painted in Zebra stripes, the roof had netting with vines, bananas and monkeys hanging from it. We all wore silly looking safari hats.........and here I am holding the bus drivers dreadlocks! When he is not wearing a hat (3rd photo) he wraps them around his head like a turban.
I had trouble taken a photo of this page with out  glare on the picture.

I used 'Create a Critter' cricut cartridge for the vine, banana's, monkey and zebra.
Here is a photo of the bus.........you can now see where my inspiration came from!

Along with this sketch from 'Stuck ?' challenge.

Thank you for stopping by

JOY.....

I hope you all enjoyed a Very Merry Christmas!

I had lots of fun getting back into my craft room yesterday and creating this layout with some photos taken on Christmas day, of  myself and our new Border Collie Pup.......he is just the cutest little guy!
I played around with some texture paste and gold colour shine. I tucked an envelope I received at Christmas behind the photos......the snow flakes worked in with the inspiration board. But as you can see by the way I was dressed, it was really hot and humid........a normal Aussie Christmas! I made the Yo Yo and flowers......buttons, doilies......a few of my favorite things. JOY was die cut using cricut Create a Critter.

I followed along with two challenges.........."Stuck", using this sketch.
and
"Scrap Around the World"....using this inspiration board.
This would have to be one of my favorite  colour palettes! I also love crochet doilies.

Now its time to play catch up, visiting You!

Happy Holidays

I have used 'Hello Kitty' cartridge for the rainbow shape card and Create a Critter for the sun.
The stamped Sentiment is from Paper Sweeties. The top layer of the cloud is  white glitter paper....its a bit hard to see in the photo. I painted the rainbow with water colour paints.

Seat Reserved!!

Hello everyone,
Its not long now until Christmas Day!
I have a fun layout to show you that I created for "Stuck on U Die cut challenge" .....Its all about TOYS ! We would like to see your Die cuts of "TOYS"
.
Each year Tori writes her Wish list and reserves her seat in the lounge room with a huge sign across a chair....Seat Reserved!
As the photo's show, she has a list of what she would like, then as she opens gifts she writes down what she receives in another column. Talk about being organised:))

Love this string of lights from ' Create a Critter'

A phone was on the list.......I cut it and the Teddy Bear using 'Slumber Party' cartridge. The stocking was from 'Joys to the Season and Wish is from 'Wall Decor and More'

Hope you can join us for this fun challenge.........lets see all those "TOY" die cuts.

Happy Christmas creating

Stuck on U Sketches....Die cut Owls

Hello...........Its Friday already! My weeks have been so busy lately, I seem to be playing catch up constantly......finding the time to craft has been difficult. But, I'm back to show you the layout I created for the 'Stuck on U Die cut challenge.  We would love to see your projects with a die cut "OWL"

Here are some fun layouts with some very cute Owls!

This photo is of my two youngest children. This pink layout is for Tori's album.

and this Blue one is for Matt's album

It was easier doing them both together........I'm on a mission to use up some older papers , so I have mixed a few collections. I used "Hoot n Holler" cartridge for the owls and hearts. The kite was cut from "Create a Critter"

Come join us for this fun challenge, we would love to see projects.

Happy Crafting.........Have a fabulous weekend

Rain Rain Go Away.......

April Showers is the theme for "Stuck on U Sketches" this Friday.
I have so much fun with these die cut challenges.....using cartridges that have not seen the light of day for a little while:)

LOOK.... the perfect photos..............It rained so heavy that part of our backyard flooded! As you can see, my son had so much fun playing in all the water.

Here are a few close ups of some of the die cuts.

I can't remember the last time I saw a lovely green tree frog ! In Queensland we have lots of Cane Toads..........so this little guy is one of them. I tryed to make him  pretty ugly, just like the real thing! LOL.

These are the cricut cartridges I used..........

Rain Rain Go Away , Child and duck - Nursery Rhymes
Sun and Clouds - Create a Critter
Frog - Four Legged Friends
Scallop border - Art Philosopy
Fence - Heritage

I hope you can join us for this challenge........I look forward to seeing what you create:)

Kaiser Sketch May #2

Hello again, I hope everyone has had a fabulous week!

Here's another page for Jordyn's album.......there is no way I'll have her album finished  by September, when she turns 21! But I know it will happen if I just keep working away at it.
I love these photo's of Jordyn and Matt together! It might be a little hard to see but Matt just loves wearing this black afro wig.......he surprised Jordyn by wearing it to one of her drama performances! Funny thing is......I think it really looks good on him, ha ha ha!

For this layout I followed May #2 sketch challenge from Kaiser. The paper is one of their latest collections "Party Animals". I cut the little Monkey from "Create a Critter" cartridge.

Ok....I'm on my way to complete another page, see you again soon...........

Christmas in Australia is HOT............. I decided to do a layout showing how we spend Christmas , most of the time just trying to keep cool!" So...........Here's my Surfing Santa"
The photo of Jordyn and Tori was taken Christmas 2008.

The lights and tree are from "Create a Critter"

With my Gypsy I welded a circle to the paper doll to give him a fat stomach.

I know my Santa is dressed a little different, but I think he is kinda cute!

I'm not going to be late this week to enter my card in "M.A.G Challenge by the Page"..........Its the second challenge and this week "Create a Critter" page 45 is what we need to use.............
I chose the Crocodile and the word Smile. When I  read that the challenge was going to be this page the first thing that came to mind was the song from Peter Pan......."Never Smile at a Crocodile" So I went to my new best friend ......Google,  and came up with the lyrics, I printed them out ........ta da, thats my back ground paper!
As you can see I only cut the head for the big SMILE!

This is a fun Challenge, head over there and have a look

Have a great weekend......
