Tea Party

The card I have to share today I made for the
Create a Coffee/tea or Coco project.
Tea would be my beverage of choice.......I thought this silhouette image from 'Suburbia' cricut cartridge would be perfect!
It was only when I finished the card I realized it needed to be a Fall theme. Then I thought.......Where I live its Sub Tropical, not a lot changes, except the temperature is a little cooler.

My card

The soft blue and cream would have to be my favorite colour combination. I wanted to create a Tea party theme..........love the soft look of the Paper ruffles !  They remind me of layered table linen. Crinkle ribbon a crochet doily and some sparkly  leaves complete the scene. ' I'm having a Tea Party' is a stamp from 'Paper Sweeties' one of the sponsors for the hop.

Wow....I can't believe how many awesome entries there are linking up, I think I'm  # 610.......maybe lucky last??? Hmmm...I don't think so!

So nice of you to visit
Enjoy your weekend

Grateful for You .......Fun is Ahead

Happy Monday to You
Today I have two Design Team projects to show you.
The first one is for "The Shabby Tea Room".....love the simplicity of this inspiration photo.
The theme is Welcome Spring

My Card

How pretty is this collage of 'Tea Time tags from 'Digital papers by Janet Etsy' sponsor of this challenge.
I've cut the large border in strips to create a wood panel look for the background, a little gesso and some distressing of the edges. Can you tell how much I love sequins........they find a way onto most creations at the moment. Just love the extra sparkle!

Be sure to have a peek at what the other DT girls have created.
........................

My second project is for "Stuck on U Sketches Die cuts"
The theme is Industrial - gears, lamp/light, typewriter, sewing machine, camera........just a few ideas.
I decided to use a Typewriter from cricut 'Surburbia' cartridge. Using a typewriter font on my computer ,I printed out the details. The balloons were cut out of water colour paper using 'Celebration cartridge, then sprayed with colour shine.

How time flies!! Its hard to believe its been a year since these photos were taken.....Tori will be celebrating her 19th Birthday on Sunday.
Have a great week.......Happy creating

FAB 50's..............

Hey There,

Time to show you the new Die cut challenge at "Stuck on U Sketches"
Its not hard to guess  the theme...............50's!
I had some fun with this layout! I tried to kinda create a 50's poster look.......as you can see, I cut every thing BIG. Don't you just love these fun colours!
We would like to see your 50's die cuts..........any thing related to the 50's.

The cartridges I have used are.............FAB - Create a Critter.~ Car , Ice cream soda and Arrow - Nifty 50's. ~ Record - Surburbia

The kids are on two weeks holidays........I'm on my way to the shops......so many winter sales at the moment, hoping to find some bargains. My youngest son has had a huge growth spurt ........every thing he owns is to short on him.....tops, jeans etc. We have  just bought him a new bed.............poor thing, his feet hang over  the edge of the one he has!

Thankyou for visiting

Happy Creating

Sweet Silhouettes - TSTR #153

Happy Monday everyone,

Rebekah  is our creative host at The Shabby Tea Room this week...........she has chosen the theme
 "Sweet Silhouettes"
Rebekah asks that you create a project featuring a Silhouette as the focal point.
Don't you just love this collage of rustic looking frames as the inspiration photo!

I recently purchased the cricut cartridge 'Suburbia' .......its full of silhouette images, perfect for this  challenge.

My card

I cut the Heart shape using ' Love Struck' cartridge then added a few more flowers for dimension.
Janets digital paper is our sponsor - the background paper is 'Victorian French'.
'The Gift of Love' is from Paper Sweeties 'Christmas in the Heart' sentiment set.

The design team have some gorgeous projects to show you..........

Debbie - Simple Treasures
Rebecca - Paper Primrose

I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge
