Sweet Silhouettes - TSTR #153

Happy Monday everyone,

Rebekah  is our creative host at The Shabby Tea Room this week...........she has chosen the theme

 "Sweet Silhouettes"

Rebekah asks that you create a project featuring a Silhouette as the focal point.

Don't you just love this collage of rustic looking frames as the inspiration photo!

I recently purchased the cricut cartridge 'Suburbia' .......its full of silhouette images, perfect for this  challenge.

My card

I cut the Heart shape using ' Love Struck' cartridge then added a few more flowers for dimension. 

Janets digital paper is our sponsor - the background paper is 'Victorian French'.

'The Gift of Love' is from Paper Sweeties 'Christmas in the Heart' sentiment set.

;Stuck on U' Card Sketch

Hello........................

Leah created a fun sketch for us to follow this week for the Card challenge at 'Stuck on U Sketches'

It was my wedding anniversary last week , I used the sketch to create this card for my Husband. 

Hey, I know .........its not real masculine but , its kind of close don't you think! 

I used 'Love Struck' cartridge to cut the hearts.

I'm always amazed at how different each Design Team member interprets  the sketch.........its wonderful to get so many fabulous ideas, head over to Stuck on U Sketches  and have a look.

 This photo was taken  yesterday of my two girls. They had bought the same top and happen to be wearing it on the same day..........I thought it was a perfect photo opportunity, this will make it easy for me to co-ordinate my paper with the picture!  And how well does the doily match their tops! LOL
The paper I have used is Kaiser "Flutterby" .

I'm entering this page in a challenge at "Show us your stuff" blog. This week we have to follow a recipe..... Stitching - around the heart, Buttons, 4 different pattern papers, Misting - on the large flower and something handmade - large flower.

Passionately Artistic is  having a "linky party" head over there to check out all the fabulous creations.

My cricut  was also used to cut a few things..........

Another Card with the Cri-Kits

Today I have another card using the Cri-Kit Gel Pens.

 The hearts are drawn using an image from "Love Struck". For very detailed designs the pens are just great! And the branch is from"Story Book"

A few tiny Pearls accent the flowers on the branch. My favourite flowers at the moment are the little Forget-me-Knots tucked in the ribbon.

2 Things I like!

My favourite color is Blue and I like drinking Tea! All my blue and white china gave me the inspiration to create this card.

The Cup & Saucer is from"Childs Year", and the Cups are from "Joys of the Season"

Each cup has a different design drawn, using a variety of blue's from the Cri-Kit Gel Pens.

The heart images are from "Love Struck" and the others are from "Mothers Day"

The cups are raised with foam tape. Pretty flowers, pearls and lace it finish off.

So this card will be in the post tomorrow on its way to Canada, my husband's auntie turns 90.
