Now for my project........ An Advent calendar!

This chalk board hangs in my family room/kitchen area......It usually has an inspirational quote on it. I used Cricut Artbooking for the tag shape and Art Philosophy for the scallop circle. The wreath stamp is CTMH 'Remarkable Wreath Seasons and Nature'......I used veramark to stamp it then white embossing powder. I used a punch for the small circle with CTMH 'Magical Days Holiday' with vesamark and gold embossing powder. I really like a shabby look so I left all the threads hanging. The tags are hanging on a plaited twine....a few pegs to hold the sweets.
You know.....the hardest part of the whole project was finding sweets that had wrappers to match the colour theme...lol !
I almost forgot...can you see the tiny pom poms on the tip of the tags?

Please visit the links to the other designers, they have some fabulous projects to show you..... have fun hoping:)
I'll be back tomorrow, hope you will join me

  2. Absolutely love your advent calendar, Tracey! Love that you used something you already use in your home for this and even though there's no inspirational message on it right now, candy is pretty inspiring! It's a beautiful design and I love the little moose down there on Christmas day and OH MY GOSH...what teeny tiny pom poms...LOL!

  7. Well, when I first opened your site, and you said "Here is a peak" I thought this can't be I want to see the more. For some reason my computer was dragging, very slow, so I had to reboot and the same thing was happening, then all of a sudden the page moved down...beautiful calendar and so elegant. You always have such beautiful artwork.
