A Layout and card

So nice of you to stop by today.......its raining here, perfect crafting weather!
I have 2 projects to share .....the first one is for 'White with 1' challenge.

The heart over layout was cut using cricut 'Artbooking' cartridge. I used Gelatos to colour the softness the water colouring creates. I've added a few of my favorite bits and pieces.

My Design team creation for 'Stuck on U Sketches'
Die Cut
Fairy, butterfly, bird, plane........etc

I decided to go with a Butterfly.....the front of my card is very simple.

How pretty is this POP UP feature :) I used a glue pen and gold glitter to outline the all the sparkle!
'Artfully Sent cricut cartridge was used to create the popup, scallop card base and sentiment on the front

I am sad to say that this is my last post for Stuck on U Sketches.....Leah and Nanne have decided to close the blog. I have really enjoy being part of such a wonderful team....its has been a fun few years.
I look forward to catching up with you somewhere else in blog land:)

Hello..........I had fun creating with my cricut today :)
In San Francisco we saw the city sites on an "Urban Safari" tour. The open air bus was painted in Zebra stripes, the roof had netting with vines, bananas and monkeys hanging from it. We all wore silly looking safari hats.........and here I am holding the bus drivers dreadlocks! When he is not wearing a hat (3rd photo) he wraps them around his head like a turban.
I had trouble taken a photo of this page with out  glare on the picture.

I used 'Create a Critter' cricut cartridge for the vine, banana's, monkey and zebra.
Here is a photo of the can now see where my inspiration came from!

Along with this sketch from 'Stuck ?' challenge.

Thank you for stopping by

Happy Day

Hey Everyone....Hope you have enjoyed a great week.

I have a simple layout to share turned out nothing like what I had in mind at the start. Does that every happen to you?
I thought these photo would be perfect to use with this months challenge at 'White with 1'....white + bisco bay. But that didn't happen because the photos looked better against this pretty pink backgound paper. I was also using a sketch..........ha.....looks nothing like it either!
So here's my layout.

I used a Kaiser stamp to create the paint drips, a few pretty doilies, buttons, sequins and some cute wooden embellishments.
Another page completed for my trip album .

Happy Creating

The Shabby Tea Room and Stuck on U Sketches

Happy Monday to you!
My first project is for 'The Shabby Tea Room'
In My Garden is the theme.
How pretty is this inspiration photo!

I just wanted to cover my card in flowers :)

I used a memory box die to cut the flowers from lots of layers of tissue paper, the center is a tiny pom pom. I made the butterfly from paper clay. The frame and sentiment are from Paper Sweeties - who are  sponsoring  this challenge. I love dying the seam binding to match my card.
Here is a close up to show you all the layers.

I look forward to seeing your creation!

My second card is for 'Stuck on U Sketches' die cuts.
We would like to see "Arrows" on your creation.

A few months ago I bought the cricut 'Artfully Sent' has some really fabulous  designs for making cards.  I thought it was about time I dust it off and put it to use!

Hmmmm.....where's the Arrows you might say?

Check out the inside!
How cool is this heart Pop up it!
I'm not one for all the measuring that's involved with fancy folds, so this cartridge is PERFECT for me. Love the tiny scallop edge on the card base too......a few fussy cut flowers and that's it!

Have a great week everyone
Happy Creating

2 Cards..... nice of you to visit:)

Today I have two DT projects to show you.
The first one is for 'The Shabby Tea Room'
Pretty in Pink......create a card/project inspired by the photo! Love this gorgeous photo, sometimes I like to try and re-created it!

Here is what I came up with..........Love the Bokeh backgrounds you see around at the moment. I had lots of fun using water colour paper and paints to create the background. I cut myself a variety of circle stencils then stamped with white ink......I'm really happy with how it turned out.
I cut the bike out from Heritage cricut cartridge, ran it through the xyron to create a sticker then added lots of sparkle.

My daughter thought she would like this card framed.

I'd like to link up with "House of Cards" May challenge...Bokeh effect

I look forward to seeing your pretty projects in The Shabby Tea Room

My next card is for 'Stuck on U Sketches' Die cuts.
The challenge is 'Mothers'......I created a card for Mothers Day.
The oval frame and overlay were both cut using cricut ArtBooking cartridge. "LOVE" is a stamp from 'Paper Sweeties'

Lots of my fav things....buttons, pearls, flowers, ribbon...the scallop ribbon border is a gorgeous velvet.

I also played along with this months challenge from 'Sketchy Boards'. I chose to base my card on the colours in the gorgeous photo...Yellow and Green. I hope to find some time to do a layout with this great sketch.

Kind of a long post for me........happy Monday to you, enjoy your week!

Chocolate cake with lots of Candles

My son requested a 'Lemon Poppy seed cake'. I Used Art philosophy to cut Happy Birthday from white glitter card

The Banner is all Glittery too.......from Cricut Martha Stewart All Occasions Cake Art
