Fun in the Sun

Hi there.............I've surprised my self being back here so soon !
This layout came together quite fast for me.

I have used 'October Afternoon' seaside collection. I still have to figure out when this photo was
taken.......then add the date.

A Close up........

This is the Page Maps sketch that I followed........I'm entering my layout in the their 'Spellbinders' Sketch competition.

Last week I was so surprised when I found out I had won the 'Colour Suite' challenge at Page Maps. Funny thing is.......it was a layout I liked the least out of any I had entered....
Can't wait for my Echo Park collection to arrive!

Hope you are having a Fun weekend

Creations by AR is our sponsor............I chose to work with the "Surprise Purse" template. This is such a great idea...........You can use this for a card, with a sentiment inside , a photo or gift card. When you open the flap, the sentiment section slides up!

U are My Sunshine..............

Hey There.......

The new challenge for Stuck on U Die cuts  is
"Here Comes the Sun"

After a week of rain , I did see the sun briefly today........hopefully by the weekend it will decide to hang around!

This week the Design Team have created projects with the Sun.......sun, sunset, sun rise/anything to do with the sun. Just make sure you Die cut it!

U are My Sunshine........ my husband.

Well, this didn't quite turn out the way I had originally planned...........I decide to hand write my verse, that was my first mistake! I hate my hand writing, then I made a spelling mistake..........that will teach me, I should have written in pencil first! So a few things came about as a cover up. And it was a really rushed job!
Anyway.........love the verse and the photo's!  That's what it all about anyway.......isn't it!
These are the cartridges I have used.....
Accents Essential for the sun, Stamped for SunShine and Martha Stewart All Occasional cake art for the butterfly and banner.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.....thank you  sooooooo much for visiting
Happy Crafting

The Shabby Tea Room #170

Hello ..................Time to show you the gorgeous  photo Lenet has chosen for  this weeks inspiration in the Shabby Tea Room.
Just a Simple cup cake but ......oh so pretty!

Lenet asks that you use the colours Blue, Pink and White and add flowers.

Sweet as Sugar is the theme.

I covered the top layer of my card in glitter to create a sugary look:)
Janets digital paper is sponsoring this challenge......the design team are using "Little Pattisserie" digital images.
Using a digital photo programme , I have applied a filter to add a fabric look texture to the image.

I used 'Art Philosophy' for the card base and the flourish top layer. Before I cut the top layer, I covered the paper with score tape adhesive, then  cut the two layers together. Once cut, I removed the top paper from the score tape, then covered it in glitter.

This is the sketch I used from Page Maps. We were asked to convert this to a shape card.
I'm linking up for this challenge.

The shabby Girls would love you to check out their gorgeous creations!
Rebecca - Paper Primrose

Thank you so much for visiting.......I really appreciate all your comments.
I have been so busy lately.....lots of family things going on, visitors from interstate staying with me etc.  Hoping to find more time to visit you and to create!
Enjoy your week
