The Shabby Tea Room #181

Hi There,
Happy you stopped by to see the latest challenge in The Shabby Tea Room
Debbie has chosen this pretty picture with the theme
Tea Party Picnic

Be inspired by the colours in the photo, add flowers and a Tea Theme.
"The Cutting Cafe"is sponsoring this challenge........the design team have created pretty projects using some fun templates. I have used the Coffee Cup( for me its a Tea mug) and Tea pot.

When you open the card there is a space for your gift card. I've cut some tags then decorated them with Paper Sweeties stamps. The small Aqua heart is washi tape.....I originally cut card stock in another colour, I didn't like it so I covered it in this pretty washi tape.

And here's my Tea mug!
Each morning I fill this with Tea to take in the car as I'm doing the school run with the kids.......love these colours!

I Look forward to seeing your  Creations....be sure to stop by and see  the other Shabby girls pretty projects.

Hey Everyone,
Its my turn to  host the challenge this week in The Shabby Tea Room, I have chosen the theme

along with this photo for inspiration. I would like you to create a card/project using colours in the photo and add a fabric flower.

I always remember being told "Blue and Green" should never be seen! I don't know about you but this would have to be one of my favourite colour combinations!

This is a fabulous idea......its a card and gift box all in one.  Click  HERE if you would like to see one I made a few months ago.

For the Fabric element I have die cut a few felt flowers. The pretty papers are from Kaiser.

I Love School.....

Hi There,

I have a couple of layouts to show you today, that I designed for "Direct Scrapbooking Warehouse".
The papers are from 'Little Yellow Bicycle' Making the Grade collection....... Lots of fun colours for scrapping those school photos.

Here's my youngest son already for his first day of school......so cute!

All the rosettes, banners, word art etc are from an embellishment pack in the same collection. Its makes decorating so easy.

Funny thing - I showed my son this layout above.........he just laughed and said " I hated school" He has now finished school and is an apprentice carpenter and loving it!

If you would like to see more of this fun Making the Grade collection go HERE.

Thankyou so much for stopping by

Just Be..........Amazing

Hey everyone..........
I'm back to show you a layout I created with products from "Close to my Heart"
Recently "Close to my Heart" launched their company in Australia.........I was so excited! They have a fabulous range of stamps and I  especially love the Exclusive CTMH cricut cartridges. You might have noticed I often use 'Art Philosophy' on my projects.......well, wait to you see "Art Booking", its awesome!

I created this layout with 'Laughing Lola's' workshop on the go kit.....combining the pretty papers with some cricut cuts.

Here is a close up of the 'Heart shape' overlay cut from 'Art Booking'. This is just one of many!!
'Just Be' is also from that cartridge. The flowers are from 'Art Philosopy' . 'Amazing' is an exclusive stamp from the 'Laughing Lola' workshop on the go kit.
I hope to show you some more creations with
 'Art Booking' soon!

Thankyou so much for stopping by

The Shabby Tea Room #179

Hello..........hope everyone enjoyed a great weekend! Its that time of the week to show you the new challenge in The Shabby Tea Room.
Rebecca is our creative host.........she has chosen the theme Vegetable Garden along with this photo for inspiration. Rebecca would like you to include a vegetable on your project and add some text.

I must tell you .......initially I found this a real challenge! How was I going to make a vegetable look Shabby?
Well.....here it is!
I really like how my "Sweet Pea" card turned out! 'Sweet Pea' are stamps by Paper Sweeties.

A little close up of my Sweet Pea, flower, ribbon and doily.
I used 'Country Life' cricut cartrige to cut the Pea Pod. I stamped some text onto the paper underneath the pea cluster.

I have also used 'Romantic Day 2' digital papers by Janet...who is sponsoring this challenge.

Have a peek at what the other Shabby Girls have created........

"Fun Shapes" stamp. I used 'Art Philosophy' for the scallop circle shape layering it with a tiny doily then a another Fun shape.

I added ' Heart xox 'shape wings to the butterfly using 'Fun shapes' , Butterfly Kisses is from 'You are Amazing'

The Heart shape for this topper is from "Love",  Sweetness x 10 is from 'You are Amazing'
