The Shabby Tea Room # 203

Hello........Back again......this is my second post for today! I just had to play along with
The Shabby Tea Room "Warm and Cosy" challenge.

Use the colors White or Cream / add a Cup or Tea pot

A friend of mine gave me a lot of drink coasters with gorgeous vintage images on them....its her birthday next week, so I thought it would be a great idea to add one of the images to her card. I hope she likes it!
'Special Friend' blend is a stamp from Paper Sweeties.
The Tea pot shape is from 'Dreams come True' cricut cartridge, I used my Gypsy to weld the shapes together to make a card.
Then added lots of pretty things :)

Enjoy your weekend everyone.....thank you for taking a peek at what I've been creating :)

Love....Cherish.....Forever

Hey there everyone,
I'm really hoping that now the kids are back at school I can get back into some kind of a routine .......and get into my craft room more often.
Its only this morning I realized that Kaiser Saturday Sketch has started again for 2014.......I needed to get my project linked by midnight , so in record time I created this layout using Kaiser 'Needle and Thread' collection.
Just simple and a little shabby :)

This is a photo of my Parents ......I thought it matched the vintage feel of these papers perfectly!
and
Here's the sketch

Stuck on U Sketches....Die cuts

Hey Everyone,
There is a new Die cut challenge at Stuck on U Sketches
"Something to Wear"
If you live in the Northern Hemisphere and are experiencing Freezing temperatures right now
Think.....snow clothes, mitten, scarves, hats, boots...sweaters, shoes, ice skates,
or
If you are melting in Heat wave temperatures........like I am ,
Think........thongs, swimsuits, dresses,

You could even get creative and use die cuts to create hair accessories!!!!!!

This is what I came up with..........a fun layout with my adult kids and their  Floaties!
They  looked so cute floating down the river.

I used 'H2o' cricut cartridge to cut the swim float. The sun and Coolin off, were cut with Art Booking cartridge.

I hope you can join us for this fun challenge....be sure to pop over to SOUS and have a look at all the Design Teams fabulous creations.

So nice of you to stop by......have a great week

Fun with Tags

Hey Everyone,
I had a little  spare time today so I decided to have a play with some tags from the Dear Lizzy 'Polka Dot Party' collection.

I add a few bits and pieces.......buttons, lace, twine , flowers etc.

I'm writing this post from my iPad, it looks like my computer cannot be fixed and I need to buy a new one......ahhh!
The sun is shining it's a beautiful day, perfect weather for painting more furniture.
Here's some photos of what I've been doing. All the furniture was plain wood before I started.

This was a huge job!

Originally The little white cabinet had hens in the panels , I replaced it with pretty patterned paper. I plan on putting inspirational quotes on the Black board. I painted the stool yesterday..... And my favourite thing of all is the milk cans. I have two of them, they were all rusty , out the back in the shed. Don't they look great Powder coated a pearl white!

Love this little stool below.

Mmmmm.... What will I paint today?
So, as you can see...not a lot of time to scrap!

Happy Monday to you all and Thankyou for stopping by.
