Day out on the Farm

I'm so Happy its Friday!
The weather is so nice and warm.....I can't wait for summer! I missed out on it last year because we spent Christmas in Canada with my husbands family.
The photo's on my layout were taken on one of our trips back to Canada. We left before Halloween.......but we did get to enjoy some of the celebrations leading up to it. The kids had never seen pumpkins like this before:)
The Die cut challenge for "Stuck on U Sketches" is to add a die cut pumpkin or vegetable to your creation.

The pumpkin was cut using 'Freshly Picked' cartridge, the fence and bird are from 'Happy Hauntings'. The papers are a mix of old ones from my stash combined with a few Kaiser die cuts.

You should see the fabulous creations the design team have created to inspire you.....pop over and have a look at SOUS.

Have a great weekend.......It so nice of you to stop by:)

Scary Looking!!

"Creepy Crawly" ...........what a fun title for  this weeks 'Stuck on U" Die cut challenge.

Halloween is slowly catching on here in Australia! The photos on my layout were taken last year ......Jordyn had just finished applying the final touches to their make-up. Pretty SCARY looking don't you think and a little Creepy!

Here a close up of my black glittery bat.......I've used red pearls for his eyes.

Scary and the Bat are from 'Happy Hauntings' cartridge. I added a few black and grey flowers, and some purple skeleton leaves to pretty things up?

I really hope you can join us for this fun challenge.......show us your Halloween Die cuts!

October is also Breast Cancer awareness month................Stop by on Monday , I have some really pretty projects to show you that I have been working on for The Shabby Tea Room.

Have a fabulous weekend

October 31st

I'm back with a card for the "Jitterbuggin Challenge"
Some days you feel like working with certain colors more than others!..........My card needed to have  a pumpkin on it but I wasn't having an Orange day.............We had to :

Follow the sketch
Put a pumpkin somewhere
Emboss
Cricut cut

I was kind of having a neutral day with a touch of pink ...........I did cut the pumpkin pink too, but it didn't look right so its now brown.

Here's what I used:
Pumpkin - Happy Hauntings
Tim Holtz embossing folder
Stamps? -the only halloween ones I own!
Pumpkin eyes - black pearls

Not your normal Halloween but I think it came together OK

Hope you all had a great weekend

Eat, Drink and be Scary!

This card was so much fun to create! I'm entering it in a challenge at "Jitterbuggin".
Here are the rules:

1. Follow the sketch: The sketch looks like a gate fold card...make one if you are comfortable with that, but it is not a requirement.

2. Put a trick or treater on your card.....but there is a catch. You must use 2 different cartridges in the creation of your little goblin. Here's your chance to be really creative!

3. Add a star somewhere on your card.

Here's what I used:
Witch and Sauce - Block Party
Pumpkin - October 31st
Witches Hat - Happy Hauntings
Star - George
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Font -  Computer
I sized the witch  to fit the card but did not make allowances for her hat.......after putting all those layers together, there was no way I was going to do it again! So she kind of looks a bit big but I think it still works.

My daughter thinks the witch looks like "Samatha" from Bewitched.

Go over and have a look at "Jitterbuggin" there are so many great cards!

Thanks4 Stopping Bye
